I was watching some classic fights on youtube and whatnot, and i'm on a foul filled fight kick,
any suggestions?
I just saw Golata Bowe and Golata Ruiz
Just a few:
Gainer-Norwood
Hopkins-Mercado 2
Pedroza-Laporte
Bowe-Golota 1-2
Tyson-Holyfield 2
Golota also bit Pouha on the shoulder/neck area.
Damn, I thought I had finally erased the memory of Gainer-Norwood from my mind. :lol1: That fight was ridiculous.
Tyson ear is the dirtiest thing, along with dudes with loaded gloves and etc, but stuff is more shocking than anything else, perhaps its slightly hypocritical, but i like the sneaky dirty, or the kind of dirty that lets the fight continue
Just watched Hopkins V Allen I & II perhaps not the dirtiest fights, but definatly plenty dirty.
I always thought hopkins was a very dirty fighter, not unlike hatton. It's why I dislike them both so much. hatton Tzsyu, anyone?
Tyson and the ear was probably the dirtiest I have seen.
I love how ricky retaliates, i know i shouldn't but it makes me smile each time, its soooooooooo blatant and obvious. And i've mentioned before that Evander Holyfield, (IS A WARRIOR) but is also a touch dirty with his head tactics.
Co-sign that.
Mills Lane KO>Hopkins.
Which brings up the ultimate fantasy fight, Mills Lane Prime vs Prime Larry Merchant

Hopkins is the man. never gets caught either.
I know :lol1:
One of the reasons i dont think he gets caught besides the fact he does it on the blind side of the ref is..........the opponent's enter the ring knowing what to expect (Dirty tactics) and they take a no nonsense mindset/approach that if he hits me low im gonna hit him low, but they forget Hopkins does not do it where the referee can see.
Tell me about it.
The 3rd fight was relatively clean considering.
Hopkins is such a clever/dirty bastard, he does not get ticked off by the ref though because he usually initiates it on the blind side of the ref, where as the opponent seeking retribution always gets caught and has a ticking off for it :lol1:

Jack Johnson vs Fireman Flynn was a disgrace. Nothing but class on Johnson's part but Flynn's actions were disgraceful. Supposedly the great Tommy Ryan, who was training Flynn, left the camp early disgusted at Flynn who only trained for dirty tactics with which he could take away Johnson's title, such as the jumping headbutt which he displayed several times during the fight.
Makes for a funny viewing though, as Flynn desperately tries to headbutt the much taller Johnson who only smiles at Flynn's antics. Eventually the sheriff of the town stepped in and stopped the fight.
