Mosley vs. Mayweather On The Horizon?

at the rate things are going, mayweather isnt going to show any interest to fight shane until after shanes 40th birthday.

This is the fight that I've wanted for years. It'd probably go down as a career defining fight for Mayweather if it were to happen. Moreso than PBF vs.JMM, which isn't that exciting yet understandable when taking into account Mayweather's been off for so long. However, If PBF were to come out of a 2 yrs retirement and defeat Shane without a tuneup, nothing could be said to demean that victory. From what I saw the other night, Mosley is the much greater treat to Mayweather than Cotto. I really like Cotto, however, dude f-around and will end up 'easy work' picking a fight with Floyd. That's if Floyd's still prime. If those two didn't fight, it'd be the biggest WTF moment in recent history in terms of Matchup/resume.

If indeed Cotto/Pacquiao has been made for November and Mayweather/Marquez has been cancelled, then the only logical solution for Floyd would be a bout with Mosley since Mosley is looking for a money fight. Mosley is ovbiously a bigger draw than JMM and IS the Ring WW Champ so a defeat over him would provide more ammunition at the negotiating table. i don't see floyd fighting mosley soon. only if the negotitions with the pac/cotto winner fails

How so?..... Pavlik "got injured" when he was supposed to fight Mora. Now Mora is nowhere near mentioned and Pavlik is probably going to fight Sturm or Abraham instead.

You're applying logic to a guy who isn't very logical. Floyd will have NO PROBLEM just waiting for the winner of Pac-Cotto. I think he'll fight Marquez, to stay active, than wait for the Pac-Cotto winner. Mosley got shut out.
