was not only very bad, it was a severe handicap. I thought they were going to stop it in the 8th. Like I said before I can see Clottey winning. I saw him as the better fighter overall, he just cluster****ed the last two rounds when Cotto was constantly moving and barely throwing.
Although it was bad I don't think it made Cotto fight the way he did.
Pressure made him fight the way he did. Think of the last 3 guys that stayed in front of Cotto: Mosley, Margarito, and Clottey.
In those 3 fights Cotto moved around the ring a lot and avoided staying in there with his opponent. It's not dumb though it's smart.
But it wasn't mainly due to the cut. Clottey at that point of the fight was still landing accurately and was game. So lets not discredit Clottey because he fought a great fight last night.
The cut wasn't bleeding anywhere near as much as people thought it would, it looked nasty but the cut man did a good job of it.
^^ Correct.. it wasnt even that bad.. cotto's face was worse with margo..
Kevin kelly had a worst cut than that n came back for a knock out win..
Even if cotto didnt have the cut.. He still had no answer for clottey's Defense..
That cut would have been spurting like a fountain if it was on a guy lie Ricky Hatton
Cotto has an ace cutman, but when it did flow, Cotto was phucked.
Like Cotto said it seems to flow freely when he was spending time on the inside,

Yeah the cut was bad. But it was weird some rounds it would bleed and then the others rounds it had see to stop flowing. He has a good cut man because it could have opened up worse.
