i've been watching omar, the younger brother of julio jr. he's gonna be way better then his older brother, he's got power and has a good chin. he's also fights tougher fighters. in the long run imo he will surpass his brother, kinda hard to do because of jrs name, but he's putting in work, and comming up faster and progressing strong. anyone seen this kid fight?
ARE YOU SERIOUS? in 2008, Omar Chavez got a draw with a guy with a record of 0-10-2, and then they did the rematch and Omar got the UD but the fight was a damn draw again.
In Mexico, real fans don't like him at all, and he got to suffer and work hard to win against real bums (no offense), which a lot of these fights have really been draws but the judges always gave the decision to him.
Sorry for my bad english.
what? noone's seen the kid fight? well if not then i think that's good, he won't be hyped when he does eventually pop out into the limelight. i believe he will be the one to keep the chavez name alive. he reminds me of a young barrera.
Oh come on bro,are you high or something, young Barerra?
Barrera's talent was light years away from this punching bag when he was young. Not even close!
I don't understand why so many Mexicans keep on rooting for these kind of fighters.Like they are proud to be known as human punching bags.
I don't know maybe it's me,I like fighters that actually have talent.Like Montiel now that is a boxer we should be proud of.Or Victor ortiz.
They both suck!Especially Omar, they gave him a gift decision about 6 months ago.The crowd booed the decision, and the fight was in Mexico.
These 2 will never amount to anything trust me.

I seen one of his fights when I was in mexico last year. He is a tough mofo! He looks a lot more rounded than jr its going to be fun watching him come into the spotlight! The body punching just keeps on coming if ur last name is chavez and ur dads name is julio
really? he just started out and is trying to fight real fighters and not being buffed along like his bigger brother. i'm gonna stay watching his progress
