And now I'm freakin' amped for this fight.
I only really remember the end of the fight. The crowd at MSG was freakin' electric. Cotto was all busted and bloodied up but Clottey had taken his share of punishment. Cotto was unleashing his hooks in combination and Clottey was trying to counter him with right hands. I think it was the eleventh round where Clottey wobbles Cotto very bad, twice with counter rights.
By this time the fight had slowed down tremendously because Cotto had stopped pressing and was looking to now counter the counterpuncher to avoid getting hurt again. Clottey backs up trying to lure Cotto in for another countershot, Cotto lands first in an exchange, a clean left hook to the chin and Clottey goes down. He seems a bit confused, tries to get up at 9 and slips back down along the ropes, the fight is waved off and Cotto wins. The atmosphere was crazy man.
I hope its a good fight.
I had a dream about Cotto Margarito before they fought. I was leaning towards Margarito to win, but in my dream, Cotto was beating this dude, knockdowns and all. Just don't remember it all.
the OP obviously had a good blunt before he went to sleep.
Clottey....countering with rights? lol.
He counters with left hooks, and solely uppercuts when he counters (both right and left) whichis why this is ugly for cotto stylistically. You can watch any cotto fight right this second and watch the first thing cotto does before punching
He'll bend his knees, slouch over, and put his gloves up eye level. You realize the reason cotto is plagued by uppercuts is because he can't seem to stop himself from excessively slouching over and setting the way he does, right?
It's why Margi landed so many, and even at the end of the fight when all else had failed, he hunched over AGAIN and ate a huge upper. Cotto has that 1 terrible tendency that seems to play right into a guy like clotteys hands.
People don't understand, Cottos damn near tailer made for clottey the way he always leans over like that.
dam.......somebody FINALLY did the right homework and studied the right shit......good job my dude :fing02:......Marg is a slow wide puncher and was able to land over 200 POWER punches on Cotto.......plaster can't help you connect.......Cotto might have gotten stoned by Marg but that still is no excuse for Marg being able to land........unless Cotto is vulnerable to uppercuts because Shane didnt get touched none of the ones Marg threw......like you said ......stylistic wise this is Clottey's fight and I'm almost over-confident but I am no fool.......this is Cotto........I respect that dude for real so I try not to say too much but you hit the nail on the head with this post!
..............I definitely cosign this

Ha, I wish my dreams were like that, they are always random as shit and make no sense at all.
I know me too. My dreams have no freakin rhyme or reason.

Can it play out this way??? I F'N hope so!
10K says there will be no stoppage.
Lol, it was a dream; it seemed so real though, Clottey was timing Cotto perfectly with the right hand counter.
Your avy is hilarious!
Wow..
That sounds so realistic!..and I can only hope it's that exciting..I'll be there..so I can only imagine how crazy MSG will sound if it plays out that way!!
