Rahman and Holyfield are old and shot - waste of time.
Arreola would be a great match-up and Haye could beat him up again like he did in sparring in Miami. (When Haye was still a Cruiser). May need to give Cris 2 years to get inshape - he turned Wlad down cos he wasn't in Elite shape.
The way I see it is Wlad; is gone now for at least a year due to mandatory's: Povetkin and Dimitchenko. So Haye needs to go the WBA route for a titleshot and beat-up on John Ruiz who has been calling other contenders out.
If Vitali gets out of the mandatory against Oleg Maskaev then I think he would love to fight Haye. But Haye needs to get a fight in 1st, someone sturdy who will give him the rounds a Dominick Guinn or Odlanier Solis as a warm-up.
Definitely sir Nips-A-Lot. Haye would polish him off pretty quickly, I reckon.
Btw, is it "Valu-yev" or "Valu-ev"? I always pronounce it the first way.
Chagaev has Hep B not Valuev, that is why he failed the finnish medical test before the Valuev fight which caused the fight to get cancelled.
Gotcha, I thought it was the other way around.
Haye vs Arreola makes all kinds of sense, fair enough one of them will lose out on a big payday against one of the Klitchko boys but if they beleive in themselves and think they have a chance against Wlad or Vitali then they have nothing to worry about right?
There should be a WBC final eliminator between Arreola and Haye, with Vitali fighting the winner.
David Haye can lose that fight though, it would cost him a big pay-day with Vitali.
I'm taking into account that Vitali is likely to fight Maskeav, Povetkin's busy, Wlad's getting Chageav. Valuev has a disease......I guess I could have switched Statham with Sam Peter.
Valuev doesn't have a disease. You may be confusing him with Chagaev.
Arreola
