FNFs can actually be very popular, and big names will occasionally come to it too.
but lets face it...tonights fights are just mediocre.
the last FNFs in Miami had a bunch of Cuban amateur stars, and the place was packed.
after Quintana fell out and was replaced by a JCC Jr victim...its not too great of a card, and I usually have my weekly FNFs card.
well it was like that for my fight vs Randall Bailey a month and half ago but towards the end there was alot of people but man me nor randall knew where the venue was at till almost 2 weeks before the fight!!!
yeah, sh*t, its like they are boxing in someone's gym. where the hell are they right now?
this could be my basement for all i know.
They are still in Miami but the week before they were in Miami and there was a bunch of famous people but this was at the hard rock so I guess I will steal one of Teddy's lines and say, "it's all about location, location, location."
They need to have better boxers on, and have more competitive fights.
There are lots of good, entertaining fighters who rarely or never get a chance to be on there: Cedric Boswell, Ionut Dan Ion, Travis Walker, Troy Ross, Sakio Bika, etc.
I hate when I hear, such and such is fighting ON SHORT NOTICE by Teddy Atlas which said all the time, it never fails.
:pat:

i agree wit dat,
im sick of seein' like 9-0 guys fighting 3-324566589 guys.
Watching FNF's and it is a ghost town in the audience. I wish they would not move around so much and just pick a few places where they hold it down.
