I thought he lost the Robin Reid fight, personally. You're probably the only person in the world who thinks that. I'm was Ried fan not a Calzaghe fan that night and I thought Calzaghe won easy, as did Robin post fight.

The only way Manfredo would ever get into the p4p rankings is if he had a sex change and started fighting in womens boxing.

The only gripe I have with Calzaghe (even though hes my fave fighter) is why he fought Manfredo Jr? Such a pointless fight imo, gained nothing from it and it was pretty much worthless in my eyes

Calzaghe was an exceptionally talented fighter and very well respected by knowledgable people in the sport.

I think Calzaghe deserves to be in the hall of fame, but it's impossible for me to be a fan of a guy who gave a rematch to an opponent that he knocked out in the first round. Just like it's impossible for me to be a fan of a guy who claims he doesn't fight for bragging rights.

Then you never really watched it, did you? The Hopkins fight was closer, but he won that one too. Ive seen it, I wouldnt have been commenting on it otherwise. thought Reid landed the harder right hands, and was actually hurting Calzaghe during the middle rounds. got some good body shots in there too. close fight, have no problem with someone saying Calzaghe won. I just thought Reid overall did more damage per round. thought he won the Hopkins fight, but only barely.
