Don't forget Oscar weighed an unofficial weight of 167lbs against Floyd, but only 145lbs against Pacquiao.
1 weight division down, but 20lbs in weight loss...
this just shows you how much of an idiot oscar really is for agreeing to drop down in weight that much !!!!
Ofcourse it'd take place at 154, Pacquiao will come in at 148 (Just like Floyd Mayweather)
Who'd win this. Keep it cool, simple question.
why would pac fight dlh at 154? pac was 138 lbs against hatton!!!!
Keep in mind of all the advantages and disadvantages.
FM: Glove Size(For Floyd), and Ring Size for the fight was picked by Oscar. Also, Oscar was in no contractual disadvantage in fight-night weight meaning he hydrated back to 160+
MP: Oscar agreed to a contract with Roach and Pacquiao's Lawyer(Gacal or w/e his name is)for about 2-3 Mill Dollars for every pound gained over 147, at fight night. AKA no hydrating for Oscar in the Pacquiao fight.
Results: DLH vs Mayweather, SD Loss/competitive for about 8 rounds if i remember. Pacquiao vs DLH, Quit on his stool in the 8th round.
To answer the thread question, I think Pacquiao would have still been very dangerous and give Oscar hell, but I think Oscar would have put up a way better performance and possibly win.(at 154 with no hydration contracts)
If stupid ass oscar was so smart, why did he let that happen to himself? he should of known what the result will be, but instead he thought he could handle manny at that weight......so whose fault is it? after all he was the one who called manny out and wanted to get revenge for the mexican people, only to embarrass them.
wats dat?but if ur dehydrated then u shud not sweat that much..again i think Pac was just too gud 4 DLH at that time..please dont discredit his win.
you guys do know Oscar was at 140 1 month befor the Pac fight
if u see the ive marks in his arms b4 the fight.
even roach pointed them out

I think most people buy the argument that DLH was really dehydrated for that fight but I dont really agree with that one..DLH not being used to that weight may have been the real cause but I cant say that he was dehydrated..A Filipino commentator even said during the ring entrance of DLH that he was sweating profusely which meant that he was not at all dehydrated. Pac's style was just too much for an past prime DLH, I guess.

so the fact that dlh had to get rehydrated in the locker room b4 the fight, and was killing himself to make a weight he hadnt made in years and basically was a zombie.
i see the outcome different if oscar was at the level he was when he fought floyd.

Still the same result, Pac still get this
its Pac's style that pose nightmare against DLH, not the weight
Pac's too fast for DLH to catch
i think the factor is the age
If Pac fought a 29 or 30 yr old DLH, then we had a fight
so the fact that dlh had to get rehydrated in the locker room b4 the fight, and was killing himself to make a weight he hadnt made in years and basically was a zombie.

If you watch the Pacquiao v DLH fight you see after the first round Oscar was discouraged and it only got worse the longer the fight went. He wasn't able to hit anything and everytime he threw he was receiving about four punches to the the face making him more tentative. I really feel that DLH underestimated Pac's power and skill. Really when the fight was made, the only advantage you could give to Pacquiao was his speed.

I want you to produce some documentation on this. The agreement had nothing to do with fight night weight and everything to do with weight at the weigh in.
Oscar would have eventually knocked him out. He would be beaten to the punch often, but would still be able to land significant shots that could decapitate the smaller man.
did you actually saw the fight?
Pac's speed and head movement was able to dodge oscar's power shots.....even at 147 lbs, Oscar still has the power to KO pacquiao who was fighting at superfeather weight a year earlier
unfortunately, Oscar was not able to hit Pacman at will.....
please dont tell me otherwise
watch the fight 3x and you will understand where im coming from
de la hoya was weight drained vs Pacquaio, and would have destroyed at him 154...de la hoya wasn't even letting his hands go that night
If PACQUAIO beats HATTON..I retire from the forum
Pacquaio beat a weight drained de la hoya, now all the PACQIAO fanatics think he's the greatest fighter ever, with his limited skills. If Pacquaio wins i'll stop coming to the forum.
PS: Pacquaio has way too many loses to be P4P so cut that shi.t out!
Oscar detonates a sweet punch that sends pac flying through the ropes and off to the hospital!
waahahahaha!!!
Floyd got a gift with his SPLIT DECISION win with Oscar :loser:
Yep, it was well over a decade ago when they fought (1997, IIRC), and also Pea was past it.
Is it conceivable for you Pac huggers to accept Oscar was not only past it, but rather unhealthy the day of his fight with Pac? Just like Pea was for that fight 12 years ago?
