Cotto is gonna lose by a brutal Stoppage, I'd say by round 9. He's not knocking Clottey out, he wont be trading like he did against Mosley because Clotteys Defense is too effectibe for that.If he trades, you cant come back from being plastered and trade period. It's funny how people here overate Clottey, he couldn't even take out a shot overweight Corrales. Now all of the sudden Clottey is a huge power puncher who breaks people down when he hasn't had a KO in years. A lot of the people here talking shit have probably never seen Clottey fight. I have seen plenty of Clottey fights and if he couldn't take out Sharmone Alvarez, Judah it was a TD or Corrales what makes you think he's going to take out Cotto. I also think some people are overrating Clottey but because he didnt KO alvarez,Judah or Corrales doesnt mean he cannot KO Cotto, Boxing works in a funny way and when a fighter is hungry/motivated then anything can happen. Alot of times with Boxers major fights is where elite fighters like Cotto and Clottey turn it up a few more notches. If Cotto falls for the same thing against whom I consider a poor technical boxer in Shane Mosley, especially to a right cross, street fighters through that...what is he going to do against a man who mixes the punches up, to the body and face, who doesn't block with his head...like margarito. No hate on cotto but, that fight against jennings was a total joke...you can,t think that jennings prepared cotto for clottey or can you???he should have fought someone with a better record or someone who would push him and make him fight to see if there was any ill effects from the margarito fight...we all know cotto is a confident fighter but he should have taken a couple of tune up fights before going after the big fish...i personally think clottey is going to break cotto will because he will see if theres any quit in cotto the first 3 or 4 rds. Clottey is too defensive to have an effective aggressiveness vs cotto. I see this 116-112 and higher for Cotto, maybe even late TKO(referee stpg) ....
