To me a Superfight is 2 household names, 2 great fighters. Everyone knows Paq and Mayweather. They are main stream. Is Williams a main stream? Cotto? It's called filling the void. When one superstar boxer exits his career, there will always be another to take his place. It has happened over the course of history in Boxing. The two biggest names in the sport fighting each other is a rarity however, but when the likes of Mayweather and Pacquiao officially retire, pundits, media and fans alike will always find another boxer to take the mantle.

If pac-floyd happens just wait after that and I pretty much guarantee you that there will be another superfight. Agreed...Every superfight for the last oh say 100 years has been the last super fight.

what sucks is that manny said that he will probbably retire after a few fights, in about a year or 2. and cotto said that he wants to retire when he's 30, and thats in like a year or 2

i doubt that pac-mayweather will be the last superfight ever. there might not be a bigger ppv fight to make at the moment but im sure as the year progress theres other fights that will build a buzz. im looking forward to the outcome of cotto-clottey to see if my boy cotto gets back in the mix with the big names or if he will get derailed and become a gatekeeper at 147. right now everything revolves around manny pacquiao and the outcome of marquez-mayweather.

There's always going to be super fights, it takes time for a boxer to build up, but theres plenty big fights to be made and it's not like theres never gonna be another good boxer or entertaining fighter to come up.

Paul Williams only gettin better... Cotto's still around... These guys are still buildin their names...and supposedly Floyd's back for a few fights or so. I don't know about Pacquiao goin into politics either... I wudda sed Dawson but I don't see any1 he wud clash with to make it big...
