I mean, if Haye wins he has to fight Wladmir again and then fight Vitali.
WTF????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
So in the next 2 years he has his fighting schedule set. Within this time he wont be given the opportunity to face guys like Arreola and the other up and coming heavyweights.
How many good years will Haye have as a Heavyweight? If he beats Wladmir, he'll be fighting them for another 2 years; 3 in total.
He's currently 28 years old, he could hit 30 by the time he's finished fighting the Klitchsko's.
Is it only me or dont no one else see this as an unfair terms for a fight?
I mean, if any other fighter did it they'd be critisized right?
What you guys think?
How can it be a bitch move? Haye wants both brothers, now he's getting it. Huge paydays for him, if he doesnt want the contract then don't sign it.
Huge paydays? Are you kidding? He is probably making his biggest payday, but it'll hardly be huge. It's a bitch move, because I believe the one-sided nature of the deal reflects how little the Klitschko camp wanted the fight. They were bluffing, thinking Haye would walk away.
It is very poor really. If they were so confident, brave why would they insist on fighting the duration of 3 fights if they happened to lose a couple they'd already be heavy over dogs in?
It's basically anti competitive behaviour imo, and dominating the division un fairly. Guy wins a fight, he wins the fight. 1 re match ok, but another one with your big brother again if you happen to win a second time, is complete madness and just stinks of someone doing anything they can to ensure they win.
If you lose, gracefully accept it, congratulate the winner, allow the sport to progress, get a re match immediately well ok, another if you lose again v's your brother, dear dear, really lame. Haye's never gona win all 3 so our best shot at a more dynamic exciting HW division for the sport have been dashed.
What? if Haye wins all the fights in the contract he'll be the undisputed HW Champion in the world! How can that be bad??? Thank god this posters here are'nt managers.
It makes sense in every regard.
Assuming neither Haye nor Wlad got seriously hurt in their fight the rematch would happen 4-6 months later. If Wlad was seriously hurt he would opt out of the rematch allowing Vitali/Haye. If Wlad wins (which I am willing to bet he will) Haye will probably fight Vitali anyway because theres nothing else out there.
By the end of those fights the "up and comers" (I use that term loosely) will be ready to fight the current champs.
What I would like to see is the winner of Arreolla/Minto fight the winner of Haye/Klitchskos.
The contract terms are nonsense, but I heard on an interview with Haye on Setanta Sports that before both parties re-negotiated David Haye was getting an even worse deal.
Oh well, at least the fight has been made.
David knew it was the only way to get and fight with both brothers. he played dirty, insulted both of them, let them know that he wants both of them. HE got it. I'm more than sure he wouldnt pass class B fighters Povetkin, Dimitrenko, Arreola. those dudes wouldnt **** with him, because they r trying to earn title shot also, not for 1st year..

So it's a bitch move to have in writing what Haye wants, Wlad wants, Vitali wants, and the fans want......
yeah wlad wont trigger his rematch clause tho.
That doesn't make any sense. So...the division is dead, you admit that. If Haye beats Wlad there is a rematch stipulation. Which is pretty much accepted as common practice. So assuming that Haye wins both fights, you want him to fight who instead of Vitali? Valuev? Arreolla? Really? Instead of a unification fight, against brother champions?
I don't understand why everyone is making such a stink about a contract that basically gives you some amount of entertainment and drama in an otherwise lackluster division.
if you beat my my brother will get you thats why its a bitch move. Haye would of made that fight if he wins anyway its just gay how they had to have it in writing.
i want to see haye fight both the bitchkos, the fact is the HW is dead and their is nothing out their for haye if he wins so it doesnt matter but if the division was packed the clause would of been the same because they are scared.

You can say he didn't earn the shot because he didn't get the mandatory slot, but how many times do we see fighters from lower divisions instantly move up and get a shot? No one seems to complain then. What is special about the heavyweight division? Right now, the heavyweight division is special; special needs that is. Waiting for a mandatory slot would have taken over a year anyway and the buzz for this match-up is right now. People keep saying that Wlad is being generous giving him a shot at all, but let's not pretend that there isn't something in this for Wlad. Haye and hype that comes with him are giving Wlad his biggest payday in some time and perhaps ever considering the way the deal is structured.
The way this deal has been put together suggests to me that the Klitschko camp really didn't want this fight. I imagine they wanted Haye in against Vitali, who they are more confident in - which is why they tried to make that fight first, before the Gomez mandatory scuppered it. In putting together such ridiculous terms, they expected Haye to turn it down, because this deal isn't even remotely close to being fair.
I like Wlad and I respect Vitali, but I dislike their management.

That fact makes it a little easier to stomach, but still...what do they want?
Could a fanboy, nuthugger and/or hater please enlighten me as to why you don't want to see Haye fight both Klitchskos?

Boxing fans make perfect sense... what you are talking about is fanboys, nuthuggers and haters.. Most of them are 16.. so don't fret
