This is classic Boxingscene ownage right here sons, I'm personally quite proud. Green K appreciated for putting Hatton Fanboys in their place. Ricky thinks Castillo was a "Top 10 P4P fighter" when he beat him. It's not even funny the amount of crap that comes out of his mouth. he actually was ranked #9 by the ring at the time Ring is the industry standard when discussing rankings. Castillio was ranked 9 P4P by Ring when he fought Hatton. FACT. Not opinion, FACT. fact..castillo was ranked #9.. yearly ranking are released in April, my June Ring magazine MONTHLY ranking have Castillio at #9 same as teh 2006 yearly rankings. Since I CAN prove he was ranked 9 in April, if you're still not happy, go and by a fcuking back issue, frankly i'm sick of trying to beat this basic simple information into your stupid skull. Blame the ring for ranking him there, not Hatton for pointing out where he was ranked when he fought them. Frankly I don't care how YOU ranked Him, I'll take Ring ANYDAY!!!! Ring is the default ranking, don't like it? don't argue about rankings, since that what everyone uses. At least as far as Ring were concerned, Castillo was ranked in the top 10 P4P fighters. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Castillo may have been shot, past his prime, damaged goods etc etc but he was ranked in the top 10 by Ring Mag at the time of the Hatton fight, one place below if my memory serves me right. So Ricky is serious and said nothing wrong. End thread. Castillo was ranked one place below Hatton in the Ring Rankings, primarily based off his fights with Corrales (the 2nd which he won convincingly). Loving this End Thread, but he is right, Hatton wasn't lying when he said that so really it was a bigger win than you thought, :sucks: I see that you ain't proving us wrong, us Hatton fan boys! until then this thread and you are fail! He was and he was basing it on the Ring rankings which had Castillo in the top 10. Btw I dont really see how Castillo would fall out of the top 10 based upon winning a fight against Ngoudjo We havn't got no proof but saying that nor have you, so why go on about it if none of us on either side can prove it? why bother? Castillo was ranked top 10 P4P and the majority here were picking him to beat Hatton at the time. im pretty sure castillo was in the bottom 10. ring rankings anyways... Castillo was ranked in the top 10 when Ricky signed to fight him, however he was bumped out after Cotto beat Judah I believe which was just before the Hatton fight. So technically he wasnt in the top 10 (he was 11th lol) on the actual night Ricky fought him. The fact that Castillo was anywhere near the top 50 is shocking! I can't believe this :lmfao: It is pretty crazy but he was definitely high on p4p at that point. I think on occasion fans have to be able to view a performance objectively and recognize that Castillo was not the same Castillo of past wars. Regardless of his ranking at the time. Either way it's a decent win and people should stop sh*tting on Hatton.

Its already been proven that Castillo was one place below Hatton on the Ring P4P rankings in Jan 2007 when Hatton fought Urango and Castillo fought Ngoudjo on the same bill. GreatJoe seems to believe that Hatton and Castillo were randomly fighting on the same bill and that it wasnt leading to a fight between the two. :lol1: He even acknowledged that Castillo was on the list at that point, yet is still slagging off Hatton and people who remember this as if they're lying. Making 3 threads about such a pointless subject shows who's really been "owned". Oh dear. So you think Hatton signed to fight Castillo before he fought Juan Urango, even though I showed you a link as proof that it wasn't official a month after the Urango fight. Castillo was rated #9 P4P, but dropped out of the list when he nearly lost against a 15 fight novice. Thus when Hatton fought him he wasn't P4P Top 10, like Hatton claims. This doesn't even take into account the fact that he recieved no money for the fight, or pennies as it was The thread starter is a wanker. Castillo was No 9 in the ring rankings. Admittedly he wasn't prime, and had a debatable win against Ngodjo the fight before but he was still Top 10. Before the fight Many posters/experts on all the various websites had tipped Castillo to bust Ricky up. If you want to shit on Ricky concerntrate on his last fight - you will get no argument from me, and im sure many others, but don't try to change history and downgrade the guy's achievements to suit you're agenda.
