I know its probably some of both, but which one was MORE the case tonight?
in other words
Was Miranda as truly as dead in the water as he looked, or was it Ward that made him look that way?

ward is legit, but he isn't the best at 168... he failed to KO miranda impressively like pavlik and abraham
Miranda has always been that one dimensional fighter, but Ward made him look really bad tonight. He didn't do what Pavlik or AA did and KO Miranda, but he made him look amatuer for sure. He mixed it up, fought on the inside well and smothered Miranda's punches. The holding got a little annoying, but it was all in his plan to frustrate Edison. It worked and you could see the dejected look of Miranda's by the middle rounds because he didn't have a clue what to do.
Ward is real. No pop in his hands but good boxing ability. Look to see him in the future with good opponents, maybe even with Froch in the later future. :boxing:
First word that popped in my head was "Finished"
He looked one dimensonal tonight.. I mean... REALLLLLLY horrible.. He was puzzled, and couldn't find an exit.
I like what the commentator said.
"Miranda should just mail in the right hand, cause the Ward already knows he is going to deliver it"

First off lets be clear, this is really about Pavlik and Abraham. NONE OF YOU GUYS WOULD GIVE A RATS SHIT ABOUT THIS IF THERE WASN'T FOR THESE FIGHTERS.
Now, Ward is still green but he can improve and all the technique is right, he just needs to sit more on his punches. He will be like Williams, suddenly improving his power once he sits down more on his punches.
What is bothering the white supremacists (who call themselves boxing fans :lol1:) is that Miranda is only 28 and he was for both Pavlik and Abraham the second best and best respectively name in their records!!! For Ward this was called a "step up in competition" They will never admit it but this pissed the shit out of them, Miranda was supposed to win right? God bless simple minds:)
Ward is for real.
That said, its not gonna be easy for Miranda to get back to this level. I have said it over and over again: all the guy is is power and heart. He has no real boxing skills to speak of, and his durability has failed him a couple of times.
Yeah Miranda not being great to begin with is a viable 3rd option. His biggest fights he's always had trouble......
Wins
Eastman - Miranda actually got rocked alittle bit, and benefited from a quick (not premature just quick) stoppage.
Green - Was actually close until the last round when Green fell completely apart. Miranda also got put on his ass in that fight.
Losses
Abraham I - Was a close contreversial fight, but Miranda couldnt finish Abraham even after he broke his jaw. Fight was close enough to that it could be given to Abraham.
Abraham II - Miranda got dropped, and the only reason it didn't end earlier is because Abraham was being extremely economical.
Pavlik - Was a war for a short time, but once Pavlik established he was the stronger man and put Miranda on his back foot it was over. Miranda eventually relented.
Good fight review.

Miranda was nothing special to begin with, the guy paws with his left arm all the time not even using it as a jab. He is a one handed fighter for most of his fights trying to land that right. But Ward fought a lame ass fight clinching his way to a victory win against a Miranda who has already been KO'D by pavlik and abraham. Idk, I wasn't impressed with Ward one bit.
