Wards a boring clincher?

Clearly this is the first Ward fight you guys have seen. No, he isn't a clincher. He clinched a lot, but it was to smother Miranda's power. Ward has rarely clinched in his previous fights. Maybe he'll start now that he sees it is effective, but you can't make any generalization to call him a clincher yet.

I just gained more respect for floyd, atleast he doesn't clinch himself to a victory win. God damn... **** Andre Ward, I hope someone knocks his ass out. Damn, I just watched round 11 and 12, I'm so happy to have missed the first 10 rounds. That fight was boring as hell. Ward hits Miranda,clinch, (referee separate both fighters), ward runs for 5 seconds, hits Miranda, clinch. Repeat this for 3 minutes and you'll have the story of round 11 and 12 The fight slowed after the 9th or 10th, you should've seen the first 3/4 of it. Great fight, enjoyed every minute of it. And the whole time I watched it, I was thinking; "There'll be at least half a dozen threads on Boxingscene about Ward tying up". Just call me Nosterdamus.

man, ward just put on a clinic. he did everything. he clinched, but he also whooped that boy's butt in every way possible. i didn't think there was anything boring about that fight.

he did alot of holdin but he landed alot of punches too. i think he could hav landed even more maybe even stoped Miranda if he wasnt holding so much.

Ward was entertaining till about the 8th then he just coasted to a W instead of closing the show!
