UD - Salido TKO - Velasquez UD - Sosa
I am aware that FMJ had his Castillo fight before Sosa, and in my opinion, that was his best career defining fight, so I didn't feel the need to put on here. All 3 have beaten who they were SUPPOSE to beat. (Except the JMM/ John fight). All 3 have had VERY CAREFULLY matched up fights....
JMM is a boxer/counterpuncher so his fights have been against come forward/ agressive fighter...see that he UDs well balanced fighters, but destroys agressive fighter (except Manny)
Pacquiao is a Puncher so his fights have been against fighters who like to trade/ have little defense, but solid chins...see that he destroys "fighters" but decisions "boxers"
Mayweather is a defensive/counterpuncher so his fights have been against agressive fighters...see that he TKOs (not so much hurts but ref stoppage due to fighter being overwhelmed) those types, but decisions' someone with boxing ability or decent speed.
Judge for yourselves......who claims to be the best....who is the best...and whose records speak for itself.....
damn, thats good for delivery. cant beat San Diego mexican food though!
is that a wet carne asada chimichanga?
I believe me...I'm well aware of SD Mexican joints....heading down there Memorial Weekend to kick it with my fam...and believe me...lookin forward to some Carne Asada fries and a nice Super pollo asado CA burrito....
And no...it is a wet carne asada super burrito WITH chicharrones....:wow:
I fixed up your chart and BOLDED all the HOFers. The resumes speaks for itself as to who is the best p4p #1.
Much appreciated!
Again....this thread is in regards to making your OWN decisions on the top 3 p4p fighters "as of today"...along with my opinions on how the 3 have been matched up to maximize their strengths.

maybe you should add to his resume how he ducked every fighter that would give him a problem, and how he will never fight pacquiao even though he says he will.
The same could be said for Pac and Marquez...although not to Mayweather's extent.
Pac doesn't pick his fighters, but his Promoter and advisers do a pretty good job of matchmaking, all Pac does is sign on the dotted line.
JMM - again craves that last fight with Pac and has been fighting whoever wants to be the speed bump to get to him
Mayweather has been a victim of his own "self promotion". Problem with promoting yourself is that all the blame falls on the fighter...."I fight who I want, when I want, and get paid how much I think I deserve".....but Floyd is not the 1st fighter to do that to himself....Roy Jones Jr. (whom I loved prior to him cherrypicking the slowest, least talented of the Heavyweight Champs) immediately comes to mind....all the talent in the world, but chose to go the easy way...except for Montell Griffin....hahahahah!
was that caused for????? anyway flame on
See...fully expected fans of ALL 3 fighters to make comments like that....but again...it shows who are "fans of the sweet science" and who are "fans of fighters"....don't trip Larrysmith....fire extinguishers are availalbe by every keyboard for this thread. :beerchug::beerchug:
so basically its a thread about floyds resume??
Nope...stated in thread....judge who is the best, who claims to be the best and whose record speaks for itself....not about anyone's resume becuase ALL 3 have been matched up pretty good to maximize on their strengths. If I wanted to talk $hit about anyone's resume...too many other threads for that.
Previous reply was just about "talking about being the best"...and I understand why Floyd does it....I really do, maximize paydays (one of his strengths) which was one of Ali's...but money wasn't so much part of boxing back in the day....but Ali backed it up by fighting dam near ALL commers who wanted a piece of him. Can't say that Floyd has done that.
maybe you should add to his resume how he ducked every fighter that would give him a problem, and how he will never fight pacquiao even though he says he will.
so what are we judging here??
JMM - Just wants to get another fight with Pac, beating everyone speed bump leading to Pac
MP - Just fights whoever is placed in front of him
FMJ - Mouths off about being the GOAT, when his record states the opposite. "Turns fighters into bitches" after beating them....coming back to claim what's his....
My point is that I love all 3 fighters...but when you mouth off and don't have the resume to back it up, let your fists do the talking, and let the fans who RESPECT (not nuthug) you claim that you are the best....that is how you attain GOAT status....
JMM never talked about being the best, neither does Pac - and their wars are what people will be talking about in the years to come.....what "wars" will be talked about around water coolers regarding Floyd........
damn, that bitch in your avi looks fine as ****.
