I think Cotto is more complete because he has tested himself against the true best of HIS division, not fighting smaller guys like Mayweather.
*That shits gotta be enough to get in*
but when he was fighting smaller guys, he kept getting knocked on his ass. (ricardo torres) just a thought
so if cotto went up to 160..would he be a coward for fighting someone at 147
Unless Cotto had fought at 160 for 3-4 years, then I'd say it was a bit of cherry picking to fight a Weltwerweight.
ok fine..lets see cotto at 154-160
hahahahah

I was right, I was right
Championi
Suck my wang BITCH!
I imagine Floyd along the ropes... Cottos attempts to goto the body, and while he does... Floyd has a field day with upper cuts.
I see the exact same thing. Cotto leaves himself open, hes been hurt and often against much lesser opponents. He likes to duck down with his hand at the sides of his head which leaves his chin open to uppercuts. I see Mayweather easily fighting in the pocket against him and knocking that chin with uppercuts. Only thing Cotto has going for him are his vicious body shots.
In terms of who is the better all round boxer, Mayweather easily.
I disagree. If they ever fight I'll bet with you. I see Floyd countering the shit out of Miguel all night long and winning a clear decision. Cotto would get really frustrated not being able to hit him flush and would start making big mistakes. To each his own.
I would put all my points on the line but you and I both know it will never happen.
Mayweather prefers to fight Super Featherweights and not real threats inside his own division.

Mayweather is better. He is far less fun to watch, and pretty mucha gigantic D-bag, but he is a more talented, well rounded fighter.
(please note that I am a Cotto fan and would always root for him.)
until now though
floyd put on 24 pounds..he fought oscar at 154
We are talking about Mayweather fighting the best at Welterweight.
And how he hasn't fought the best there.
17lbs to Welterweight.
You said Mayweather fighting the best at Welterweight is the same as Cotto fighting the best at 168. When that clearly isn't true.
Are you getting confused little boy?
Cotto kicks his ass.. which is why Mayweather wont get anywhere near him.
All time wise, Mayweather's resume is better though.. Mayweather has been a pro longer then Cotto has though.
floyd fought the best in his first 2 divisions..cotto is in his second division right???let me see cotto go 2 168 and fight the best
Cotto at 168 would be as close in size to the elite as Mayweather is at WW? Lets not get too carried away now.

So Floyd puts on 17lbs to Welterweight, right.
But Cotto has to put on 28lbs to get the same results?
Shits absurd and you ****ing knows it.
