That's all I read. People discrediting Pacquiao wins saying they were easy wins.
If you told me a year ago That Pacquiao was going to move up to lightweight and fight for a belt I would probably say alright Pacquiao will probably win but it depends on how he looks at lightweight because he never fought there.
Then you tell me after that he's going to fight at welterweight against Oscar De La Hoya and move down to 140 to fight Ricky Hatton after.........I would call you fukin crazy. I would say both those guys KO him.
Does anyone remember how much of a joke the De La Hoya fight was considered when it first came up? Everyone picked against Pacquiao in that fight and said he had no chance. Then he DESTROYS De La Hoya. Now people don't even consider it a good win. Pacquiao accomplished something incredible that night.
Then the only reason Pacquiao was favored over Hatton was because he just looked so great against Oscar at a higher weight. Had he just moved up and fought Hatton after Diaz than nobody would give him a chance. Still, many thought Hatton was his real test above 135 and that he was too physical and strong for Pacquiao, would kill him to the body and all that. Pacquiao absolutely destroyed Hatton. Now people are saying Hatton was washed up, weight drained, trainer problems, blah blah blah. Hatton is 30 years old and only lost one fight, he's not washed up. Pacquiao was too fast and strong, and had a perfect game plan.
Point is, if you told me a year ago Pacquiao was going to do this I would call you insane. So the fact that he did do it is incredible and I don't see how people can discredit him.
refuting what you said is like refuting moon is made of cheese!lol...lol
Should be easy task for such an intellectual as yourself then? Or you going to try to continue to feebley talk shit to me, because you do not have a good answer?
First things first.
1. I think that Manny did get easy fights for his last two bouts. I don't mean walkover easy, but in terms of boxing difficulty, they really werent what I would call fights that he had to struggle with. You only have to watch them to see how much trouble it was for him. I'm not even going to talk about the DLH fight. He was ****ed.
What interests me, is that people will AGREE that Hatton looked like shit in the fight.
They will AGREE that he has no defense.
They will AGREE that he ran STRAIGHT into Mannys punches.
They will AGREE that he boxed like an Amateur.
YET, when it comes to contributing any of those facts to his win to show what a poor performance Ricky put on, it's "STFU STOP MAKING EXCUSES GAYWEATHER FAN BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH".
How is someone with practically no defense, who walks into your punches with his hands down in straight lines NOT an easy fight?
If that's not a gift to any boxer, then what is it?
2. **** Mayweather.
The dude had never lost at 140, I don't care if you say he can't box for sh*t, he was still considered better than anybody else at jw class.
You can laugh at me. Because his last 3 fights haven't tested him one bit.
Say what you want but DLH was awful and even in the Mayweather fight people noted he couldn't pull the trigger anymore. He didn't have anything on his punches and he fought like a coward. At least when Morales got his ass kicked in the 3rd fight he went out like a warrior. Even though he could have gotten back up he took a solid 3 round ass whoopin. DLH went in the corner and hid. I will never forgive DLH was frauding us into watching that.
Diaz was tough, but he wasn't that good and his style was perfect for Pac. I thought of him as a "belt holder."
As for Hatton, many will say he was great and all that. Me I'm sorry I'm not impressed with his resume. And he has no defense.
Even though I shit on all of those 3 fights Pac still has a great resume. He beat Barrera and took out Morales. Then he fought JJM and won by a close decision. And he has other solid wins.
So to me Pac has always been great. But this outburst of Manny mania is solely because of the Hatton fight. He was great before then. Knocking out Hatton didn't prove anything to me because I already thought he was great.
Then you must have a pretty long losing streak there!! Do bet with actual money or just e-points?
I gamble for real~. I am doing just fine with my current system (being patient and only betting when I feel the odds are at a level that is good for me, in boxing this happeans a decent ammout).
Watchin fights is great but watching fight when you have money riding on them makes it so much better. Then I can enjoy the fight over and over in my head as I blow my winning at the strip club~.
most of those who discredit are retarded gay-ass floyd fans who can't accept the fact that pac is now considered greater than floyd.
its funny though. floyd announced his unretirement during the day of the pac-hatton fight, saying he's the back and the best or some sh*t like that. then pac destroyed ricky in two rounds. must have shut him up...
i was die hard ,floyd is unstoppable until manny gave the boxing world a reality check
here's the thing with pac..
he always does something that shocks everyone, but after some time, people find something to downplay his win
with ledwaba, ledwaba was unprepared (even though he had like two weeks notice before the fight, and his first fight at US)
with barrera, he caught him in a bad night (even though barrera was p4p with wins over hamed and morales)
with morales, cause he was shot (even though he knocked him out. twice. nobody knocks out morales, and he was NOT shot at the second fight)
with marquez, well, he lost both fights (even though they were close as f*ck, and he did knock him down four times, plus marquez' style is like kryptonite to pac's)
with diaz, cause diaz is a bum (even though this was pac's first fight at 135, and diaz is at least a top 5-10 lightweight at that time)
with delahoya, its because dlh was weight drained (even though no respectable boxing expert gave him a chance, and he like jumped two f*cking divisions)
with hatton, well i don't what's the excuse there, cause he is undefeated at 140, his only loss is againts mayweather. not shot. not weight drained.
there you go.... see the excuses? pac's resume is one of the most impressive i have seen in an active. never ducked anyone (don't say holt, campbell, guzman, or valero you retards).
Great post..
People love dominating preformances though, I call this Mike Tyson disease. I look to exploit it in gambling on boxing, so keep riding high on Pacman please~.

word around the boxing world is that Manny has gotten better in each fight since his 2nd fight with JMM.......ok break it down.......Diaz is not in JMM's skill class and thats FACT!........DLH was physically unable to perform like DLH is known for.....thats FACT!!!!.......Hatton is not on JMM's level and thats FACT!!!........if you take 3 lesser opponents than the last guy to trouble you......you SHOULD look good!........if you can get past the hype you'll see that these were EASY fights disguised by excellent promotion.......I dont wanna sound like I'm hatin' on Pac because I really do like him but I call a spade a spade.........lets just see whats next or who's next on Pac's plate........Arum screamin' Cotto :lol1:.......Cotto under 147 aint Cotto :nonono:
Not that many boxer are at JMM level, he is the #2 p4p. The thing that is suprising people is how easy he won against not as skilled but bigger fighters. So who should he fight because everyone below JMM is an easy fight?
To me one of the biggest mistakes boxing fans make is giving fighters to much credit for fights where they recieve little or no resistence. To me those are guys you should beat and look good against, which is what Manny has done.
To me you really judge a fighter by the fights where they have something to overcome, now the opponent has to be able to bring that out of a fighter this it is not Manny's fault.

dlh wasnt weight drained! if he was he shouldnt be standing for 8 rounds. he was just to busy defending himself. thats y he looks like dead...
Well then he should not have decided to fight a guy that's like 3 weight classes below him. Pacquiao made the proper adjustments to move up and be affective. Oscar should have came down better. He waited to rehydrate himself so that the next day weigh ins weight looked more even.
The only fight that i give Pac Credit for is the Hatton fight. Dlh was weight drained and the world knows it.
lol who told dlh to pick on a lightweight???
The problem with some fans is that they find it hard to give credit to a fighter who actually gives us a good fight. Yet, they give credit to fighters who hardly had a significant fight in the last few years.

It's funny now Pacquiao's last 3 wins were "easy fights" | BoxingScene Community
