Looks like everyone on television is suddenly a boxing expert :lol1:
Even those who agree with these statements should be able to enjoy the hyperbolic commentary.
Well, I'm assuming that he has no intention of moving back to lightweight before he retires. If counting the lightweights as well, of course Gamboa, Khan, Valero, as well as some others.
valero is not faster than pacquiao.
why does everyone think valero's fast?
he's not fast nor very good. his opponents make him look good.

I missed the part where you qualified "any weight division he fights in," my mistake.
Gamboa?

have you ever watch ESPN. Skip Bayless(the guy who made that comment) is the dumbest guy in espn. This is the same guy who said Dwight Howard is not athletic and constantly make himself dumb. He is basically the Maestro USA of espn. Delusional shock poster.
the guy just wants attention.
he says shocking things so people will email to him and talk about him.
Manny's a top fighter and deserves plenty of respect, but this collective media jerk-off is getting on my nerves.
I'm fed up with having to clean spunk off my monitor. It's ****ing unhygienic.
ROFL. Pac is getting to much hype..
Once this guy said Ali was faster than Leonard, i stopped the video.

I don't now about him being faster than leonard but he sure as hell is faster than almost any of the boxers is any weight division that he fights in besides Mayweather and Judah but the differences there are minuscule.
Gamboa?

I don't think this will come down to speed. I think it will come down to who adjusts to each other's speed. Let's face it, they're both fast.
I think PBF will have an advantage in slowing down the fight, changing tempo, switching gameplans and then attacking when there's an opening. He will try to make this fight as boring as possible. Rope a dope shoulder roll, anyone? And then potshot just enough to win a decision.
I don't think PBF is going TO FIGHT Manny, he is going in there to win a boxing match.
thats the power of the media for ya tengoshi san... i know u are not the biggest MP fan but damn... if u dont buy what the media is saying just ignore it... u sound like marquez after the 2nd fight... whiner...
You misunderstand - I'm not bashing Pacquiao at all, I'm laughing at this media farce.
It's only been three fights since the second Marquez bout, but it seems like no one in the world could possibly last the distance with him anymore.

People were making similar claims about Ali during his career, saying they "measured" that he was faster than Robinson and every other fighter in history. I somewhat wonder about the motivation that compels these media figures to say such things :lol1:
ali's not even the fastest heavyweight ever. at least handspeed anyway. patterson had faster hands.
Once this guy said Ali was faster than Leonard, i stopped the video.
Those so called experts are just journalists who couldn't talk about politics, so they watch 10 boxing fights( with Ali, Tyson and De La Hoya) and call themselves "boxing experts".
That's why i still don't listen to their statements, guys like Steward or Hopkins have better knowledge.

he probably is faster than ali or leonard.
he is a damn featherweight. those guys were welterweights and heavyweights.
it is funny when sports analysts who don't really follow the sport talk about boxing though. it's good for us. i'll take it even though they don't know what they're talking about. any publicity is good publicity.
