I don't think this will come down to speed. I think it will come down to who adjusts to each other's speed. Let's face it, they're both fast. I think PBF will have an advantage in slowing down the fight, changing tempo, switching gameplans and then attacking when there's an opening. He will try to make this fight as boring as possible. Rope a dope shoulder roll, anyone? And then potshot just enough to win a decision. I don't think PBF is going TO FIGHT Manny, he is going in there to win a boxing match.

I somewhat wonder about the motivation that compels these media figures to say such things :lol1: ali's not even the fastest heavyweight ever. at least handspeed anyway. patterson had faster hands.

he probably is faster than ali or leonard. he is a damn featherweight. those guys were welterweights and heavyweights. it is funny when sports analysts who don't really follow the sport talk about boxing though. it's good for us. i'll take it even though they don't know what they're talking about. any publicity is good publicity.
