are you kidding.....? ROCKY, ROCKY II, ROCKY III, Raging Bull is great but there's no other boxing movie that had as much influence as Rocky.
lets see you have diggstown (alright), gladiators (umm okay), great white hype (hilarious), ali (dull), undisputed (wesley snipes in prison, okay), million dollar baby(great movie), resurrecting the champ, the hurricane (not bad), girlfight, cinderella man (enjoyable) the champ ( with jon voight was pretty good)
maybe we should vote on the worst boxing movie ever made.

I mean, Rocky IV single-handedly ended the Cold War. So that's gotta rank pretty high.
I thought Ali was very underrated, it was a good movie.
Snatch is pretty funny.
Mayweather Mafia Mamones would absolutely fall in love with:
"Beautiful Boxer"
Plot:
Based on the real life story of Parinya Charoenphol, a Muaythai boxer who underwent a sex change operation to become a woman. The movie chronicles her life from a young boy who likes to wear lipstick and wear flowers to her sensational career as kickboxer whose specialty is ancient Muaythai boxing moves which she can execute expertly with grace and finally her confrontation with her own sexuality which led to her sex change operation.
Rocky Balboa simply because they let a 60 year old geriatric version of Rock coming from a 20 year retirement claw his way to a split decision against the undisputed HW champion of the world Antonio Tarver
I'm glad you mentioned this because I really liked this movie. People may be thrown off by how low budget it is, but I thought it was funny and pretty well done.
Cinderella Man and Raging Bull are the best non documentaries. Rocky movies are fun but corny. Rocky 3 still holds up the best.
Rocky I was "corny"?
That was actually a quality movie I would say...the rest were popcorn movies...except Rocky II had some quality moments.
Oh, and the story behind it was good:
Ali
Cinderella man
Undisputed
When we were Kings
Million Dollar Baby
Only in America
Tyson
Hurricane

Rocky III(My all time favorite, and its surprisingly realistic because it shows what happens to boxers when they let fame get to their head. Rocky 3 dealt with a boxer who was on top of his game while in the others he was just a sad depressing underdog. I love that Apollo Creed is allies with rock, I love Mickey,Mr T, Hulk Hogan, Adrian... its just a really super kickass movie.)
Carola's The Hammer > All :boxing:

It's interesting how boxing in America so often gets looked down upon, yet in Hollywood, boxing films are so respected. It's not just boxing films in the past (Raging Bull was ranked #5 on the AFI top 100), but even recent ones win Oscars (Million Dollar Baby) and get critical acclaim (Cinderella Man).
nah i never seen it, i just asked because i remember seeing it at a convenience store where i rent movies. its with john leguizamo
lolol
Joka...
Im gonna have to take a look at imb cuz i remember the name
Great White Hype is hilarious. Rocky films ain't realistic, but they do the fukkin job for entertainment.
I thought Great White Hype was a good satire on boxing. Underrated movie.
You might have to be more of a boxing fan to get some of the satire though. Some casual fans, some of the jokes and satire might go past them.
Im sure i have i remember the title..
Give us a quick lowdown on it

The Gladiator...is a sleeper....Tommy Riley Cuba Gooding Jr and Patrick Denehey
this movie is the shit.
I mentioned that one earlier. It was my fave back in the day. The Price of Glory with Jimmy Smits is a good one.
