This is interesting to say the least... I was wondering what some of you might think about this.
Here's a video of Silva's first boxing match:

Horrible, he's slow and he telegraphs every punch. However if it's MMA rules and Silva actually uses MMA skills Jones wouldn't last past the first round.
I have no idea why Anderson Silva would want to be humiliated by a 40 year old man in a boxing ring.
RJJ wants to go in the UFC under MMA rules. Either way it's not much of a fight, in an MMA match Silva kills him and in a boxing match RJJ kills him. It doesn't sound like Dana White is gonna let it happen in the UFC.
To say that Silva sucks as a boxer is an understatement, he is 1-1 with that win coming at the expense of a debuting journeyman, the loss was at hands of yet another journeyman. Then again, he looks worst than his record when you see it on video. Jones wins nothing from fighting him, he should fight up-and-comers if he wants to waste his time around until he climbs back enough to challenge the WBO champion, but defeating Silva will mean nothing for his title aspirations.
