So if a potential fight between Manny and Floyd did go down i fail to see why the weight is an issue at all. When Manny faced Oscar he weighed 148 in the ring. That fight was at Welterweight. When Manny faced Hatton he came in to the ring once again weighing 148. That fight was at Light-Welterweight. So as you can see regardless of whether Pacquiao faces Floyd at Light-Welter or Welter he will weigh exactly the same. Couple this with Mayweather weighing pretty much exactly the same, at most a pound or 2 more and the fight would be even regardless of weight. So if the fight is at Welter you should all realise it makes no difference than if the fight is at Light-Welter.
