I've been noticing many people still at odds with Marquez getting the short end of the stick in their last fight. But who do you all see winning a 3rd fight if it were to happen now. Would we see the same type of fight we've seen in their past 2 fights, or will one dominate another?

If the fight happens at 140lbs, PAC by brutal ANAL-HILATION....JMM get butt raped...and then retire..
Pac was weight drained when they last fought at 130 lbs..
From here on, Manny physical condition begins to decline.
This is truly subjective and a complete generalization. From childbirth to adulthood, people develop at different rates. To say that Manny will be in decline from here on, is purely speculative in your part and has no basis.
I believe he is even getting faster, but that's just my opinion. Power is the product of speed and genetics and the way he knocked Hatton out, I think he is going to get faster and faster. Plus he is so comfortable at 140.
PAC KO 1.
Manny is at his peak true. But he is vary dependent on reflex and sprinting movements. From here on, Manny physical condition begins to decline. And most often then not, if you are not crafty tactical boxer (JMM, B-Hop, Mosley). You begin to lose your edge fast.
I hope a rematch comes along even at 140. But as of now, I want to see Manny capitalize the most he has in the next 2 years and retire.
Not just the extra poundage, how about age and ring wear. Marquez isn't getting any younger. At 36, it is pretty old for fighters of lighter weights. His recent fights features more exchanges from bigger opponents and he'll be taking Floyd whos bound to hit him with massive shots. By the time he gets Pac in the ring, he's toast.
We have to wait to see how marquez deals with mayweather.
If jmm wins, the final showdown with pac is going to be crazy.
I feel most want to see mayweather/ pac though. Either way we have some awesome fights coming up.
id probably say pacquiao UD. Im pretty stuck between a KO or UD because pacmans proved he can have him down and hurt. But still Marquez has come through both fights. Manny UD
Yes, he has. The fights with JMM forced Manny to develop his right hand, which is exactly what he's done. His movement, footwork, balance and defense are all better now. The fact that he had trouble with Marquez was a great thing because it forced him to re-think everything. A blessing in disguise, if you will.
Next time, Marquez gets KO'd. Pacquiao is improving while JMM is deteriorating. Add the extra weight and it's a short night for Juan.
Pac improved A LOT from the first fight to the second fight, but not much so from the rematch to now. He had the right hand and everything else you speak of in the rematch.
At 140, I agree with you...Marquez gets stopped late. If Manny's willing to come back down to at least 135, then I think Marquez finds a way to get the decision this time.
Pac is no longer improving, he's reached his peak (what a peak!) and the only other thing he can keep doing is beating big-name opponents. Marquez is getting older and Pac is still at the top of his game, so at 140 (which appears to be an excellent weight for Pac) Marquez would lose. Pacquiao never did much at 135, so it would've been interesting to come back down to that division to set the record straight of who the best of that division was. In other words, lightweight would be the best place for a third fight.
I hope they have a fight at a catchweight of at most 137
Why? Manny came from 106 and I believe has never fought at a catchweight. He just took on all comers whatever their weight. Why should JMM be given the luxury of fighting at a catchweight? 140 or no fight at all.
KO 1 for Manny.
The second fight was just last year people...Manny hasn't learned anything new since the rematchfight (or any fight.)

The second fight was just last year people...Manny hasn't learned anything new since the rematch. He was a great fighter in the rematch, he's a great fighter now. His main advantage at 140 would be that he's carried the weight VERY well and looks extremely powerful at that weight.
Also, his youth would play more of a factory in a third fight. Marquez still has the world-class skills to pull off come-from-behind wins, but his age is slowly starting to show.
At 140, Pacquiao stops Marquez late. Juan Manuel will last much longer than Hatton did.
At 135 (or even back down at 130), Marquez would find a way to win with no controversy this time. However, I don't see Pacquiao coming down in weight from 140 for a third fight (or any fight.) That's only for Pac's opponents to do, not him.:lol1:
I always felt there is a double standard when the JMM PAC fights are discussed. They always whine about how they think Marquez won both fights and never the other way around just because he is stylistically the better technical boxer puncher and most boxing experts wouldn't want to look foolish picking a rough and tumble whirling dervish boxer like Pac to win a decision against a pure boxer/puncher like JMM. They don't have the balls to call it the way it went down. JMM lost both fights period. The 1st fight was scored a draw because an official made a mistake in scoring and the 2nd fight was decided by a 10-8 round 3 for Pac. I wish JMM would stop keeling over and make this debate easier for the fans. Stop falling down.
One thing I can say for sure is that Manny improves each time out and it's the same in both the JMM fights, while JMM has always been consistent with his style and he is probably to old to learn new tricks.
PAC vs JMM III will be a KO win for Manny at 140. JMM will be 37 - 38 when they do finally get it on for the 3rd time, while Manny will be 30 - 31 and hitting his peak ala Michael Jordan and still learning.
Too fast, too young, too powerful. Manny by KO 1.
As much as I love Marquez and have him at least 1-1 with Pacman, Pacman is a very gifted fighter, his power and agility are carried up as he jumps divisions. Marquez was always the smaller guy, at this weight I fear Pac may be too much for him. He'd go out on his shield though.
If yall havent notice that marquez has been fighting in wars and was losing to Juan diaz and Casamayor before he knocked them down. Really Pacquaio has many power punches in his arsonal now since the 2nd fight and at 140 his punches are far powerful compared to 130. Add the much improve defense of pacquaio and you got a far different pacman compare to their last fight. I like marquez and know that he is a truely a great fighter but at 140...i dont think Marquez can hang.
