The man is a great fighter and has the opportunity to be the greatest of his decade but that doesn't place him that high on the all time list. For samples I looked at ESPN's list.
1. Sugar Ray Robinson
2. Muhammad Ali
3. Henry Armstrong
4. Joe Louis
5. Willie Pep
6. Roberto Duran
7. Benny Leonard
8. Jack Johnson
9. Jack Dempsey
10. Sam Langford
11. Joe Gans
12. Sugar Ray Leonard
13. Harry Greb
14. Rocky Marciano
15. Jimmy Wilde
16. Gene Tunney
17. Mickey Walker
19. Stanley Ketchel
20. George Foreman
21. Tony Canzoneri
22. Barney Ross
23. Jimmy McLarnin
24. Julio Cesar Chavez
25. Marcel Cerdan
26. Joe Frazier
27. Ezzard Charles
18. Archie Moore
28. Jake LaMotta
29. Sandy Saddler
30. Terry McGovern
I know some don't like this list but who on here that is notable to you outside of maybe Chavez(and he even has a billion wins) would you put Pacquiao ahead of?
And please, this thread has nothing to do with Mayweather cuz he aint in the top 30 either.
if TS is asking if i could name 30 fighters that are greater then pac, the answer is yes, pac is not a top 30 ATG.
but because he's still fighting, and still has the hype, and has a ton of fans on here, people will say rediculas things like pac is a top 10, lol, our era doesnt have enough talent as most, its just a fact.
the guy is still active. let him finish his career then let the experts decide where he belongs in the atg list. the list provided by the ts is still subject to change

according to that list, i'd put pac between greb and marciano
At least two of those names you mentioned are top ten. LOL. You're funny. Listen man, I'd love to go through some more names and chop it up but this cat and mouse is getting tiring. I don't want to go through anymore "such and such is better" which then becomes "ok maybe not but still..." It's silly. Take it easy, bud.
Peace out mayne...and o yea u lost the Margarito argument:owned2:
Lolzzz
You haven't won this seperate argument and Pac's resume wit Floyd on it still aint top 10. It isn't up there wit Duran, Hagler, and Leonard's...maybe not even Hearns...or Evander...

You ****ed up a lot in this thread, bud. Can't speak on fighters you don't know about. Period. How can you bring up a historical thread with little sense of history?

I'll give you that I fukked up saying Leon was better than Marquez but Margarito never earned a shot at Floyd...

And what have Cintron and Santos done? As soon as Kermit got his title Margarito took it, and Santos???
And as soon as Rivera wins a title, you'll let me know?
That's because you don't know boxing from bowling. Old man Pineda on the level of who? Cosme Rivera has done what exactly?

I'd still put Rivera and Pineda on the level of Santos and Cintron...

Not only is that debatable but umm...he fought those guys at 140. Did you read the whole question?

Corley and Witter > Santos & Cintron...
Judah had a better resume than Margarito at the time...
