This is even big news in manilla as ive seen many news reports claiming this is going to be manny pacquiaos next challenge. Vote on the poll sports boxingheads!! in my opinion id have to say Manny cuz of his speed and good head and foot movement i don't think Cotto could take shots from Manny through out the fight the only way i see Cotto winning is because of his size not to take away from him as a boxer i just don't think his skills are the same as Manny who other than Marquez has nothin but bigger and heavy fighters tryin to fight him

Pacquiao wins with his speed in the early rounds for me. His accuracy and power will overwhelm Cotto much like DLH and Hatton I believe. The difference being that Cotto is defensively responsible, and Manny lacks development in the one punch he is vulnerable too, the uppercut. If Shane Mosley's speed and Power were not to much for Cotto, Pac's wont be either.

I have Cotto winning. He's a very accurate puncher and can fight speed fighters very well. Cotto's power at 147 is something I'm not sure Manny can withstand at 147 because there's no way Cotto budges to make even 142. Very dangerous fight for Manny, but I'd like to see it anyway.

c'mon guys, lets be serious... cotto is just too big for pac. its a mismatch So was the DLH fight. I'm going to wait and see how Cotto handles his next fight before I make any decisions, Cheato gave him a fair hiding and I'm curious to see how he comes back.

it aint got nothing to do with cotto being big, its that cotto has underated speed, great timing & is accurate as hell with his punches. Cotto aint gonna bull rush like hatton. Cotto's gonna time him & catch manny when he's hpoing in like a bunny.

I think Cotto is too big and Arum is just putting that out there as a negotiating ploy in dealing with Mayweather. Manny/Floyd is the big money fight, you don't take a chance and put Manny in with Cotto first.

Judah troubles everyone with his speed, even Floyd. Manny doesnt hit as hard as Judah at 147 anyway so yeah your assesment is through with yeah but Judah gets hit. These bigger guys can't tag Pac. One way traffic.

if manny catches cotto early on and doesnt even let him get off, cotto's done. i say cotto bullies pac like a schoolyard bully for a few rounds but gets caught and calls it a night.

Cotto finishes Pacman after hurting him with a well timed counter. Pac has yet to prove he can take a punch above 130...let alone by a top welterweight banger.

I got Cotto by KO as soon as he gets manny with a good shot. Cotto's still in his prime, is a great boxer and the best welterweight in my opinion because he's a very complete boxer

this fight is a mismatch and cotto is too big. that said, with pac's power and execution, roach's gameplan, and cotto's flaws, pac could KTFO cotto. but like I said, pac is too small

if Pacquiao was allowed to use the hatton/billy graham giant body belt protector during his fight with Cotto, i would say Pac decision.
