hattons finished.....there isnt an excuse in the world he can give to make up for that shit he put up on saturday night....he doesnt deserve any more big paydays.......and he isnt a legend in the uk....
he isnt a legend and he wasnt the best of the world, no excuses he has a glass jaw and he doesnt know how to follow instructions from his corner, no one can change his boxing style, doesnt know other way to fight
Ricky is a hack.
All these humble rumors are getting old. Anyone who read interviews and saw the 24/7's before the Mayweather and Pacquiao fights know that the this gentleman crap is a myth.
Good riddance, back to fighting euro-trash.
you know absolutely nothing
Hatton is actually one of the more down to earth people I have met and interviewed. Dude hung with me and my friends after the Barrera Juarez II fight and he was nothing but class.
hate his style hate his career but seriously you have no idea to make such leaps of faith

Harsh. He has been great for the sport, whatever you think of him.

The 2nd round knockdown, when they showed the birds eye view...u could see he was tryin 2 stop himself from crying....he knew he had lost and man, its broke my heart 2 see!! never been sad watching some1 get ko'd like that...hes a legend especially for the british.
yeah i'd take ricky and his attitude over anyone else cept for haye who's also a warrior. if u guys came over more often to fight prime p4p fighters u would eventually have another lennox on the record. too bad its takes so long to hype up a fighter that when they get there they're no longer in their primes sometimes.
I wouldn't mind knowing why the fuk he thought he would just be able to get on the inside by walking forward hands down against one of the fastest, most explosive guys ever to fight with dynamic power in both hands.
Irrepairable damage was done to Hatton's legacy the other night. He will always be remembered as a guy that failed against elite fighter except when they were on their last legs.
Why is he a legend especially for a the British? Cause they view Dunkirk as a victory?
I am not a fan of the British, but you have to admire them for inflicting Nazi Germany's first ever military defeat (the Battle of Britain) during austere times financially.
Its all good. Ricky is a great guy, and is always graceful.
Wish him the best.
I think he should have a farewell fight in the UK. He definitely has the most loyal and insane fanbase in the sport.
I got to witness them first hand this past weekend, and they livened up the city of Las Vegas like I have never seen it before, in person.
I have to agree with all of that, apart from the bit about Hatton fighting again.
His excessive lifestyle has clearly caught up with him and because of this he was a shell of his former self the other night and will never again be the same man who beat the great Kostya Tzsu or Jose Luis Castillo. Obviously Floyd Mayweather Snr. did not help matters one bit, but four-time World Champion Hatton may as well retire while his brain is still functioning properly as he will never be the greatest fighter on the planet now.
The only thing he had left to do was become Pound-four-Pound King of the world so there is nothing left for him in boxing now.

man. Not surprised something was up in training camp. He didnt even try to box at all. Like he was trying to show up sr. or something, and you could tell he wasnt listening to a word he was saying.

since the video probably will never be up.. give us a short summary of what he's saying
.....was asked if the everything in the training camp went okay, he said no...but said he didn't want to talk about it. he also said he is taking a few weeks to decide his future but his body language and attitude made it look like thats it for him now! u could tell he was totally gutted about his performance and he apologised to all the fans that travelled to Vegas......
........STILL A LEGEND IMO THO!
