Floyd is a Defensive Counter Puncher, Pacqiauo is a used to just be a SLUGGER, now he is a Boxer/Puncher IMO. He used to just go straight for the kill, now he just gets you with shots, and ducks your punches, and if he sees he can go for the kill, thats when his Punch/slugger part comes in. But his boxing has Improved so much, and his Defense is underrated at the moment. He is like a lil mike tyson in there right now. Ducking and dodging your hooks and straights. With that said, Floyd beat Hatton and Hattons 2nd best weight division. He wasn't at his best in that division, but he was still a force. Floyd never was the most devestating puncher... Pacquiao is the better puncher by far, but so what? Floyd is better in every other category except punching power. Yes, Pacquiao's win over Hatton was more technically impressive than Floyd's (with length of fight and weight class), but don't let that fool you into believing that he is a better fighter than Floyd.
