Anybody staying "Neutral" for the Hatton vs. Pacquiao fight? very hard to root again

So? I think in a way, it's a little easier to root for Pac than Hatton, but I also think Hatton may need this a little more than Pac as far as legacy. People are basically shitting on him right now and being the underdog, it can possibly make you lean towards rooting for him, however; how do you root against Pac given all he has done in and outside the ring? I think the only solution for me is to either see a draw or to see a double KO ;) Let the best Man win. I'm cool with whatever happens. I think it's better for boxing in general if Ricky wins. It sets up some really good matches for the future.

i'll be cheering on pac, but I know hatton's grappling skills are just too good and pac just doesn't fight dirty like that. That's one thing that has me: How dirty will Hatton be in the fight? If he is real dirty, I could see me rooting for Pac to kick his ass. But then I look at the trainers: to be honest, I think Freddie has a real dirty side to him...specifically about choosing opponents on the slide/past their prime and wanting fighters to come down in weight so they show up dead...and admitting it (but I guess at least he is honest about it). He's even said Hatton isn't the same since losing to Floyd...but credit for Pac who Freddie said told him he would rather fight Floyd than Hatton because Floyd beat Hatton. While Floyd Joy seems more honorable with this regard. Plus, you notice Floyd and Pac get dressed up in suits while Hatton and Roach look like they are on there way to the gym...interesting.

I want Ricky to win. In the end I always end up rooting for the British fighter so I'm going to stop lying to myself when I pretend I can sit on the fence.

At the moment Im neutral, but as the fight goes on I'll wind up going for one of them, always happens. Yeah, me too probably. I'm just not sure I can see myself rooting against Pac, and I think I could make it a lot easier on myself if I go watch that Tszyu vs. Hatton fight again, so.....Hatton's getting KTFO...Go Pacman:boxing::lol1: Kidding. Still not sure. You still have Pac being the heavy favorite even though I think Hatton could win this one and Hatton needs this win more as far a boxing legacy since everybody is shitting on his picture and will cast him aside with a loss, which can help in rooting for him to win since he is the under-dog...but how do you root agaisnt Pac? Eh... Pac's like a walking symbol of what an under-dog is. Even though some of his wins are overrated. I'll see Saturday.

I love Hatton i think hes a hell of a guy that doesnt take himself too seriously and is a hell of a fighter, not to say Manny isnt but im a Hatton fan.

Like both fighters and hoping for a great fight. I'm British so going to be cheering on Hatton. Didn't give him any chance against Mayweather but think he has a great chance in this. Hatton by 10th round stoppage.

i'm not fully indifferent but i gotta admit this is not a mega-fight that has me all that amped i'm swaying in Pacquiao's favour because I don't really like Hatton

im rooting for pac. i could careless who wins as long as its a good fight. but my girl is filipino and her family would get mad if i was cheering for hatton, theyd prob kick me out haha

As is the case with 9/10ths of all fights I watch I never have a rooting interest. If I'm rooting for anything it'd be a double knockout.

I'm one of those guys who are pretty neutral, and cant decide who i want to win. If i was a betting man, i'd put my money on Pac, but i would be happy to see either guy win. Both have worked really hard to get to where they're at. Neither man took the easy route by ducking dangerous challenges in order to get to the top. I have equal respect for both fighters.

This fight is too big for me to stay "Neutral". I have to try and pick the winner and I have gone with PACMAN. Picking a side just makes this fight more interesting to watch. This ain't Friday Night Fights for crying out loud! :lol1: I was thinking the same thing for the past few days which is why I asked. I keep going back and forth of who I may root for.

I'm not really rooting for either one, though I do think Pacquiao is going to win. I don't consider myself a fan of either one of them.. They are both nice guys though. Pacquiao can annoy me with his stupidity (exc. signing two contracts with rival promoters & letting leaches benefit of him) but I think it would be better for boxing as a whole if he won. Ricky is at a point where he needs to win this fight though, it's all or nothing with no turning back. Really, I don't care who wins. I just want to see a good fight. Hopefully it lives up to the hype and we see a rematch to come along with it too.

One thing that I noticed with Hatton that got me thinking was this quick scene from 24/7 Time: 3:00 It's like Hatton is putting his full trust in Floyd Sr. because Sr. is one of the few who actually believes Hatton can not only win this fight, but Hatton has gotten better and is better than people give him credit for...and Hatton really wants it to be true. He has gone out and put his ego aside and hired Sr. to make him better. Plus, anybody that likes Kool-Aid is cool with me. Power of Film :)

i'm picking pac, but find it hard to root for either as i am a big fan of both. i just hope it's a great fight.

Am trying hard to stay neutral but am leaning towards wanting pacman to win and do it in style so we could see better intriguing matchups but if hatton wins then he must have fully deserve it and good luck to both fighters.
