IF Ricky Hatton beats Pac, then who does, or should be his next fight? Does he wait for Pretty Boy for a rematch? Does he seek somebody else? What would be his next fight or move? Until next time its KO2you :boxing:
I would say a quick tune-up fight...then onto Mayweather/Hatton 2..just think how they could sell it..Father/son/uncle all in one ppv.It would be Mayweather vs Mayweather also.
Why not Cotto??? I think winner of PBF vs. JMM fights Cotto first. Then Hatton if Hatton wins tonight.
hatton ain't fighting cotto or mosley at 147, cotto and mosley are fricken huge.
he'll fight floyd though for revenge though and he might give pac a rematch just because of the money. he'll also fight jmm.

hatton will be gunning for floyd, and now that floyd has seen 25,000 brits come to vegas I'm pretty sure floyd will want that.
I reckon Hatton will only fight two more times after tonight.
If he wins -
Winner of Marquez - Mayweather
then
Bradley or Khan
If he loses -
the loser of Marquez - Mayweather
Bradley or Khan
theres still plenty of fights as 140 - nate campbell and bradley are the most likely. i think it depends on how long hatton sees himself as a LWW, i dont think he'll go to 147 until he physically feels as though 140 is too much of a strain.
at 140 i want to see him fighting someone like bradley, bradley is an excellent fighter. the fact that he has took a few belts and has wins over soid 140 comp shows that he is the real deal, paulie was a good fighter but apart from one good performance vs louvemore n'dou he didn't really impress me, he was the best of a bad bunch. bradley is also willing to travel and seems to acknowledge that the hitman is the no. 1 at LWW so negotiations should be easier for hatton.
maybe hatton will want that fight to brew for a while if he chooses to he can keep buys with other good fights like campbell, judah, torres.
looking at ricky and considering his age and habits id say he has 3/4 more fights at LWW and then he will either retire or go up to 147. if he goes to 147 i would like to see him take on berto, berto is a relatively small WW and it would be an interesting fight.
my boy Shane need some bread.......since Cotto is gonna get erased against Clottey :lol1:......Hatton will be a good money fight for Shane......Ricky shouldn't go no where near Shane but I'm just givin' a bias opinion.........Shane needs a fight with some bread involved......Mosley vs Hatton in the UK!
its a possibility. but you know i can see it now, if hatton does beat pac, he'll get minimum credit for one reason or another. always the same. like with the malignaggi fight. before that fight there were many people pikin paulie saying hes too fast too slick bla blaa, hatton wins 10 out of 11 rounds and then after the fight its, aw well paulie is feather fisted and couldnt beat any1. uno what i mean?! so i dont see it being any different if he beats pac, it will be, aw well he beat up on a smaller guy.
Not so sure about that cause Pac is thee #1 guy on the P4P guy on the list according to most. This should give Hatton a good leg up by beating Pac. Don't think anybody could say anything on this regardless who wins. Hatton in my eyes the more stronger of the two and Pac the faster of the two, both have good chins and both are relentless. Guess we will see tonight.
He still has away to go, but if he beats Pac (huge win) and then the next young lion (Bradley) and maybe chuck in JMM too he could be concidered the best ever. Maybe.

theres always the next young lion coming through. hatton already proved in his last fight against malignaggi that he is the top man at light welterweight. he was ranked the divisions second best behind hatton. and bradley already had the WBC belt when hatton fought malignaggi yet people considered malignaggi the number 2. and as for hatton being the best light welterweight ever, i dont think so, he has a way to go. kostya tszyu is in my opinion.

Those are the most likely options. But I want to see him fight Bradley next, as he is the rising star and probable successer to Hatton at 140 (after retirement). A win against Bradley would leave no doubt what so ever in anyones mind that Hatton is the main man by a long way at 140 and one of the greatest JWW, maybe even the best ever.
But theres a small fight on saturday night to deal with first.

A Bradley fight is also a option but i don't see it being likely.
Bradley is a very good fighter but doesn't really bring money to the table for Hatton. He simply isn't a big enough name yet. Until next time its precision :boxing:
I agree not likely, but its what I want!
said it before and i'll say it again, i don;t want to see a PBF rematch, there's not point at all.
JMM would be a good tear up. sayign that, one of my mates seems to think hatton would put cotto away (???!!!), i can't see that though.
