Which current top SMW's do you think Mikkel Kessler could beat.

He can beat pretty much anyone at 168 if he puts his mind to it and gets the fights made. Though i doubt we will see him step up for a while yet.

Kessler could beat all at 168. Problem is that he isn't proving it when fighting meaningless mandatories. I know he is in a legal battle with his old management team and all, but if he doesn't step up his competition this year, then why should he be rated so high? 168 needs to see some unifications. It is one of the most deepest divisions, but the top men need to face each other. Bute/Andrade 2 winner should face Froch or Kessler, and throw Balzay in the mix and we have some great unification match-ups. Agreed completely. How long can a boxers rating be based on performances some 2 years ago? As for unifications yeah that's what we all wanna see. The only likely fight of that kind in 2009 is Bute vs. Froch and that just might happen IMO.

He CAN beat them all. But will he? He most likely will not face any of them this year at least mostly due to the managerial dispute. Also both Bute and Froch appeared to wet themselves when they where asked about Kessler in the postfight interviews after their wins over Zuniga and Taylor.

Problem is Kessler won't fight someone, he is the master of hide and seek Inferno please!!! Even if he was hiding which I doubt he is...he is certainly entitled as most top fighters nowdays make excuses...lets not forget the small fact of a court case with a certain old C U N T that should have been dead years ago and couldint even watch his boy fight Calzaghe...is dragging out.

You always attacking Calzaghe because of your own insecurities. He beat good fighters, but a hater will always be a hater. Maybe Calzaghe should have fought little midgets like Hatton and Marquez to be considered an Atg. Its not enough beating all the big names in the supermiddle weight division for him to be considered good for shit posters like you. lol, your pathetic. Hi All, Which current top supermiddleweights (or even up to lightheavy) do you think Mikkel Kessler would have a chance against or defeat easily? Give me your thoughts. Some of mine would be; Kelly Pavlik (if he moved up from MW and was competetive) Arthur Abraham (as above) I think he would have destroyed Edison Miranda. Froch...LoL he would eat alive...under 3 rounds IMO. Jermaine Taylor (as shown by Froch) if Taylor had a great night though this could go either way. Come on lads give me your opinions!!!!! this post is kind've ironic given it's coming from someone who has Joe Calzaghe in their avatar. Kessler is mired in a retarded and slow legal battle with Mogens Palle. Hopefully once he gets out of that situation, he can fight guys who are ranked in the top 10 by The Ring. Kessler beats any current SMW or MW out there, and a lot of LHWs.
