calzaghe to carl froch

didnt calzaghe do the exact same thing? 1 guy was completely shot and the other got robbed. also calling calzaghe a "great" is an insult to great people around the world. not really an insult calzaghe is one of the greats, undefeated and world number one, whats better eh? carl froch being undefeated, doubt it, he just about defended his title against taylor winning in the last 15 seconds, other then that he was 5 rounds behind, so dont say he could of won on points.

I don’t blame Froch for wanting to fight Calzaghe, as it probably would be the most financially advantageous fight he could get at this time. However, I think Calzaghe is serious about his retirement and won’t ever be back in the ring. So while right now I understand, if he is still trying a few months from now it would be embarrassing. At some point you got to create your own legacy and make people want to fight you. For the record, I think Froch will in fact be smart enough to move on.

But I have a feeling Calz is staying retired, I wish he came out because I personally enjoy his fights. He is looking for a comeback. I know he's been rumoured to be tring to get a fight with Zsolt Erdei. Beating the lineal champ would be a huge accomplishment and do wonders for his legacy. There is rumours going around he is trying to get Kessler to sign to his promoting company so personally I feel he is happy to be retired and become a good promoter. Froch would be sick though if Calzaghe promoted Kessler in a fight agaisnt him and won!! Kessler commented on that and said something like he was flattered (bad sound on the feature).

Well personally I'd like to see him stay retired. Too often champions makes ill-advised comebacks and Joe is 37. What is the general feeling in Britain? just been on skysports and seen what calzaghe had to say about carl froch and i totaly agree with everything he said, froch would be no match for him, he struggled to keep up with taylors pace with no guards, but against calzaghe he would set the pace to high for froch to cope with, froch wuldnt be able t throw them last round haymakers (if he made it to the last round.) Calzaghe is right when he says "To be honest it would be frightening what I could do to him if we fought, he doesn't seem to realise that holding your hands up and defending yourself is a pretty vital part of boxing." I wouldn't call Froch a nobody and it's very unfair to do so, however he was offered the fight a few years back and said no. He needs to concentrate on his own career rather than talking about JCs all the time calzaghe making up lies again? pretending he offered fights to people who were unknown at the time really makes him look even more pathetic.

Carl Froch would lose to Librado Andrade, and that isn't a wise crack because Andrade deserves his shot and Andrade has greatly improved since his loss to Kessler.
