Much like the majority adhere to the fact that Pacquiao has already established that he is now a legit welter weight, as has Freddie his own trainer. Three or four people in a forum who think alike does not constitute the majority. It might not have been the most posters who thought that, but the posters with the most posts surely did.

That's true. The star wants an advantage. I have no problem with that. My problem only lies with the fact that floydstans build this as a fair and competitive when it clearly isn't. Floyd is using his starpower leverage to gain the maximum advantage. I have no problems. Just don't call the fight legit. This only means Floyd wants to fight Pacquiao at 147, because he knows if he goes to 144 for Marquez he'll have to do the same vs Manny. And if Manny fights Mayweather at 147 he'll be in a bigger disadvantage then fighting him at 140.

Its a tactic he uses to avoid the most dangerous fighters. fighters that he can make more money with, but if the guy is too dangerous he'll ask for an exaggerated amount of money for him so the fighter wont accept the fight. really, like who? give me an example of him doing this....
