Just read that Bradley has been stripped for failing to defend against Devon Alexander, but the guy only fought 3 weeks ago! Dont the sanctioning organizations usually give a 90 day deadline.
Tim is apparantly more than willing to fight Alexander in his next fight and asks for loyalty from the WBC, something not quite right about this.
Bradley is a good champion and the WBC should be proud to have him wear theyre strap. At first i thought it might be paving the way for a Mayweather comeback, freeing up the title and making it vacant.
I used to think the WBC was one of the better belts, but theyre just retarded like the rest of them.
I find all the belts illegitimate now. They all do so much garbage
IBO for the win.
Sadly it's the way of the sport. It's not the belts and the honours, it's the names on the resume that hold more water. Take Hatton, he's just happy trotting along with the IBO belt rather than going for any of the others, whilst fighting bigger names like Pacman, Floyd....probably JMM as well. He's got no interest in fighting for the other belts in his division against guys like, Bradley or Kotelnik.
Says here Witter's getting a shot
http://www.britishboxing.net/news_4549-Junior-Witter-gets-WBC-title-shot.html
As it should be, the WBC ranked #2 against the #1. That said, as their #3 and #5 happen to be fighting each other on Saturday maybe they should throw it into the mix!
Actually it's because Devon Alexander has been the mandatory for over 12 months and hasn't gotten a title shot. Devon Alexander will be fighting Junior Witter; sorry no Mexicans there.
Look, these sanctioning bodies have rules. From time to time they enforce them. Tim Bradley knew that he was supposed to fight Devon Alexander. It's not a surprise. Alexander has been his mandatory since the day he won the title. He decided not to fight Alexander. Why? I don't know, but it probably has to do with money and tv exposure.
Y'all can cry Bradley a river, but he knew what he was doing when he moved ahead without fighting Alexander. I'm saying though good for Devon Alexander. He needs more big fights. Eventually he might work his way into a position where Bradley will fight him.
Great post, Bradley knows the rules i mean that how he got his own shot at Witter, Devon had been waiting for sometime now so good luck on Alexander and Witter.
Jose Sulaiman wants to give the WBC belt to a Mexican or someone who can give em the most money..
So I won't be surprised if Victor Ortiz or Amir Khan gets a shot at it.

Idiotic. Bradley will dominate the division IMHO when the Hatton, JMM, Pacquiao and (possibly) Mayweather quartet finally retire to sit on their respective heaps of cash.
The WBC is just making itself look ridiculous.
And this is the same organisation that wouldnt strip Vitali Klitschko of his belt when he was holding up the whole division and even compensate him with the "Emeritus status", This shows that if you have a name or a promoter like King,Arum then you will get away with anything in boxing.
Belts are almost becoming worthless in boxing, especially in legacy terms.
We all know it's all about the money for these organisations, but surely this is taking it a step too far?!?!
The WBC has become a farce, and the sooner Suliaman is out, the better,
He definitely has something up his sleeve. I mean he lets Pavlik keep his two belts without fussing while Pavlik defended the WBO belt against that locket guy, as well as fight Hopkins.
Its a shame because the wbc still to me represents the most prestigeous title out there but Suliaman needs to fix up
The truth is that Suliaman needs to hurry up and die already. What a despicable self righteous piece of shit he is.
Damn this make no sense. We all know Bradley couldn't put asses on their sit but damn Sulaiman is so greedy.
I see Ortiz and Khan coming.
Great post vErDuGo...

It is the most prestigious title, but they bitched out big time on this one.
Seriously its like If Jose doesnt like you then your getting sacked as champion, its ****ing unbelievable, as far as i know Bradley wasnt given an ultimatum or a deadline to defend against Alexander. He has done nothing wrong.
The real problem here is the WBC hates being unified with another belt. Shame Bradley is a worthy champion. He should boycott them from now on.
