When G. Peñalosa lost the title match with Lopez, people thought that it’s time for him to hang his gloves.
Pacman also advised him to do so, likewise Freddy told him too. But barely 3 days after dethroning his veteranity, he spoke about his retirement, and his statements?—“It’s not yet time to retire…Time will tell”
Hmmm sounds that Saturday was not yet the time. In this case, who will be his next opponent?
Somebody should tell about his time.
i watched gerry's fight for the first time and couldn;t help but think if the guy dropped down a weight or 2 he'd be awesome. big heart, great chin......loved the guy.
as for JML, think he'll go onto great things.
He should go back to the Bantamweight division, it's his natural weight but huge props to him for wanting to fight physically bigger opponents.
Maybe a fight with Vic or Montiel would be good.
A fight againts VIC would be great for Gerry. He still has his WBO belt (118). And i think Vic likes Belts these days.

Medina, DPDL and the other dude got kayoed in round 1. all were legit Super Bantams.
Penalosa whose best days are @115 is now a legit but not so big Bantamweight.
If he survived 9 round s with Lopez(A beast) at 122 without hitting the deck. Is it safe to assume that he can compete at the highest level at 118? I think so.
