Did Taylor won or lost your respect last night?

Taylor has never been blown out in any fight, he's always made it close

It's always the same with Taylor, a great talented athlete who puts a lot of rounds in the bag with his superior skills and then somethings happens, either he gets caught with something big and can't recover or he badly fades in the championship rounds leading to disputable decisions. In my opinion, he never embarrassed himself in none of his 3 defeats. I have always liked him and respected him. He's a good guy. I think people were fooled by his athleticism, he does not have great power or defense.

I hate how he lost to a limited fighter who just wanted to win more even though he wasn't the better boxer.

He showed he has heart to me. That KD in the 12th, he looked out of it. I didn't think he'd get up at all, but he did. Even when he was hurt bad in the 12th, he tried to fire back too. He really needs to sort his shit out though. He fades in the late rounds all the fucking time... Yeah I have the same exact opinion as you... My buddy was over watching it, and I said exactly.. I have faith in JT's skills up until around round 8, then after that I have no idea... and thats exactly how it went.. I definitely still have respect for him, that first knockdown was ridiculous.. bad, I couldn't believe he stayed calm and got up, and tried to fire back.. he stood there the last 20 seconds taking BOMBS refusing to go down.. He got outgunned in the end of the fight.. but that doesn't mean he didn' show heart.

His losses to Pavlik and Froch were not blow out....shit, he was beating both of them (dropped them both) before he "lost" it. He stamina is no excuse because he's a world class athlete and this should not be an issues but to place him in the same boat as those three is ludicrous. i never thought taylor was winning any of his fights with pavlik the 1st fight i thought taylor only won 2 rounds mostly everything he hit kelly with was punches behind the head but he was beating froch but that just makes my point that he's a stupid fighter like cintron judah and harris all these fighters losses were more there own fault

Taylor was hurt too much to do anything, and Froch was still fighting hard. I respected Jermain for getting up off the floor. taylor was clearly winning and all he had to do was cruise through the last round most elite fighters would have but not taylor

Never liked him but he showed that he can get up an fight after being down.He showed that in the first Pavlik fight!!The respect is there but he doesnt impress me. Well at least Taylor didn't quit unlike your boy Cotto did. That the difference, you should try to get a new role model

I still believe in Jermain Taylor... Hes accomplished a hell of a lot in this sport, and more times then not he would get the W over Froch, but last night he fell short. I hope he gets another chance for a big fight or even a rematch because he is deffinantly more then worthy of an opponent for anyone in or around that division.

Hes a good fighter, he could be a champion again, if there was ever a rematch im sure he could win against froch..... Seems like a humble person, gracious in defeat...i think thts how people shld be and liked how he stuck up for the ref....ref's get alot of stick and its nice to see boxers seeing their point of view. So his efforts against froch and what he said after the fight gained more respect from me!

I already respected him but he improved upon it by getting back on his feet in the last round and making an effort to finish the fight, despite taking an absurd amount of punishment. I lost a little faith in him though, and his chances to re-establish himself as a top fighter... he's got a lot to prove if he wants to make people believe in him again.

You never really know why he gasses..maybe he has a thyroid problem and adrenal problem... Or a wind problem. I respect Taylor, nothing changed since last night, I knew he'd get KO'd but give his all, so for that, respect.
