Nah,hes done face it.He is now 28-3-1 kayoed twice. That doesnt look very good at all,and I cant see him getting much better.
He was a very good fighter, but I dont reckon he will come back from this.He will probably try,and the same will happen to him.You are from his area. How many times do you want top see him get kayoed?
you're exactly right.....he can't get any better at this stage in his career.
i wondered why ppl questioned his heart before the fight, now i see why....
i would love to see a rematch, anyone agree?
If Taylor earns it with a couple of good SMW wins, yes, without reservation. Next up, as a spectacle, yes but there are guys I'd rather see Froch fight, and there are guys he should rather be fighting. A rematch has nothing for Froch at the moment.
In either event, should the economic necessities remotely allow it, a rematch should be in the UK. If Taylor won't travel, he doesn't want it enough to win.
i think at SMW he's already earnd it, i mean think about it, if he didnt get knocked out, he would have won.
There has to be a 'history' thread in there somewhere. The "how many guys deserved a rematch because they got KO'd when their opponent was behind on points, and never got one" thread. :) Good grief.
It doesn't matter about chances and shit.
It seems people have forgotten what people watch boxing for. Entertainment.
When two fighters have styles that make an exciting fight, the reason call for rematches is not based on fighter progression or what rank they are or even anything they've ever done in the past.
The point is they put on a very good show, and they can hurt each other which means the match could go any way at any point, which makes it more exciting.
I for one wouldn't mind seeing it again.
well said completely agree
Chances is nto the issue, he was beating Froch and would have won. He deserves the rematch strictly on that bases. Its understandable why you wouldnt want to see a rematch because you know very well Froch is capable of losing and most likely will.
not if the fight is in the UK. taylor will need a KO; the problem is he doesn't have killer instinct.
I don't think a rematch is deserved...
It wasn't close, Taylor was winning and got KO'd / TKO, done.
So what if it was 14 seconds till the end of the fight, thats how it happened. This was a come back fight, he had his chance and blew it, how many chances can you give him.

Taylor should come across the pond if they do. Although it wont happen.
precisely, the fight should be in the UK perhaps at the City Ground, Nottingham in front of 30,000
Nah Taylors run as a top fighter is no longer. And he should stay away from big punchers with stamina. Their his undoing. Much respect to Froch for coming over here taking a fight he was supposed to lose, and knocking his man out.
I'd only like to see a rematch once Taylor proves he can go 12 rounds.
He needs some tune-up fights in a bad way... in relatively close succession, so he has to get in shape and stay there.

It was a good fight so of course I'd like to see a rematch, but I doubt Taylor would like the idea. Froch might not be one for the purists but whoever faces him is in for a long night.
Froch-Andrade is what I want to see next.
Yes I would But Taylor needs to earn the rematch. Maybe by fighting Bute or some top ranked SMW
