Are u dumb or something, how the hell do u know he got KTFO? U GOT A VIDEO? KTFO my ass, some people are dumber then ****
How do u know the ref didnt give him a standing 8 count for a big shot landed,if u get TKO'd in the ams,it doesnt mean u got KTFO
the ref stopped it with no count beause ortiz was out on his feet?
well khan KTFO ortiz with the head gear, what do you would happen without it?

yea i think mayweather, jr. had a defeat in the ams......but that stuff is irrelevant when it comes to pros....i think ortiz would brutally ko kahn
Gotta second that. That was a good while ago. How you fight in the amateurs is one thing but when you turn pro it all changes and you pick up so much more, at least IMO. Plus....Ortiz would eat and s**t Khan now.
If Kahn is ever put in the ring with Ortiz, it will be one horrible experience for him..

i'm not a fan of the kid, but i'd feel sorry for the poor guy if they fed him to Vicious Victor Ortiz
lol i cant believe this thread has created such paranoia, i think the ref stopped it, it was the final of the junior olympics, thats all i know (and everyone else really knows) unless you ask khan himself
Ams are significant for the first part of a fighters pro career. But when they reach championship level it doesn't mean shit.
Mayweather lost to this guy (Augie Sanchez) in the Ams, and look what happened to him as soon as he stepped up in the pros.
Heres the post fight interview for the hell of it.
He was also beaten by Martin Castillo

Let me make something clear, first Khan did not KO/TKO Ortiz
second in amateur boxing do you know what a ko/tko is?
when a fighter takes a huge shot the ref gives him a standing 8 count or sometimes even stops it to insure the safety of the combatants.
so which was it?
did Khan KO Oritz or did the ref stop it early?

ortiz is 22 fukin dumb ass... the khan-ortiz fight was when they were both 16. you talk as if you know everythign about ortiz, stay the fuk out of a non-pinoy thread cause all you dumb ass pinoys do is embarrass yourselfs
Someone once brought up that Ortiz also had no named trainers (He was poor as ****) while Khan was having everything given to him including excellent trainers.
Anyways Taylor beat Pavlik in the amateurs, in the pro's Pavlik is now 2-0 against Taylor. I got Ortiz by KO if he ever fights Khan.
talk about double standards... you make it sound like khan stagnated in the skill department while ortiz got better
you do know that manny owned ortiz in sparring for his fight againts diaz, video was on youtube, that wasn't that long ago. reason beaing is manny's speed and crazy workrate
khan has mad speed and workrate, ortiz can't deal with this. tr to search for pac/khan spar and pac/ortiz spar, you're going to see the difference. khan was getting beat up but still remained competative
You do know that Bowe was being owned by Holyfield as well in sparring...or so I hear.
I do agree that for Ortiz to be successful, he is going to have to step it up. His current trainer doesn't seem to push him in that direction so he may need a change to someone more offensive minded.
Sparring is still not a "fight" for money and legacy and it can make the difference.
Sparring can be telling of where a fighers is at though............but we'll see.
I'll do a search...youtube? Google?
Khan was still KTFO because of a power shot. Ortiz has that same ability. Both still can grow as fighters.
If you put the smaller gloves on him and have no head-gear: he still has a chance to hurt Pac as well. Anybody more powerful that Pac has faced than Ortiz?
Where was Pac at Ortiz's age; at his best?
SEND ME THE SOURCE/LINK OF THE SPARRING.
I haven't found anything yet. Easier if you find it.
mayweather had more than 1 defeat in the ams. i think they're officially saying his record was like 89-8 or something, which is an incredible amateur record.
amateur boxing is very different from pro boxing. khan vs. ortiz would be a good fight.
Yup. Not like when Sugar Ray Robinson was fighting in the amateurs and it was basically a few round Pro fight.
What was Robinson's record again ;)

huh? even if its amateur, it's still a boxing competition
khan beats victor ortiz, believe it
victor ortiz is a great fighter but he cant deal with speedy/high wrok rate fighters
ortiz sparred manny as well for the david diaz fight, ortiz got owned
Ortiz would brutalize Khan.
