For once I actually find it hard to predict how Taylor beats him, but I'm pretty damn sure it'll be a schooling nonetheless. Crotch's style (which is, let's face it, a poor man's RJJ with that pasty white arm held low) will be his downfall, and Taylor will keep clacking him with sharp fast rights all night long. And if he catches him flush, he'll finish him this time unlike with Pavlik in their 1st fight.
Taylor UD.
Thing is, I'm confident of a Taylor win but not certain. The last time I felt genuinely certain of someone winning was Pac over DLH. This time, there's this niggling "I told you so!" part of me that sees Taylor either falling apart in the mid-rounds whilst ahead, or ending up as Lacy against Calzaghe by never getting off at all.
Yeah it's unlikely, but then again a lot of people were dead certain about Lacy schooling Calzaghe. But then, this guy was undisputed MW champ so I'm not too worried. In the end, if he were to lose, it'd be down to him and not Crotch.
So, turns out I had it pretty much bang-on besides the eventual outcome. Taylor schooled him for 12, in a shutout IMO, and made the Crotch look worse than amateurish.
As far as I'm concerned Taylor merely gassed out, hence losing it on his own accord as opposed to Crotch winning it convincingly. At least I had a feeling it would happen beforehand, so I don't feel all too bad about predicting the winner wrongly - I still managed to predict the fight!
Bring on Kessler.
Froch is a bum at world level. This fight is a total mismatch, Taylor will either win a shutout or KO the english/polish sheep loving bum by mid rounds.
Froch is hilarious hype, the fight will be like a comedy show.
Great post.

This fight is alot closer than everyone thinks.. its pretty evenly matched.
Froch is the bigger stronger guy, Taylor is a little more speedy/elusive.
Taylors experience edge isnt much because he is moving up in weight, and at 168 he just beat Lacy, which isnt as good a win as Froch beating Pascal IMO...
Taylor looked impressive against Lacy, but Lacy looked terrible in his last fight against a bum, so that puts a question mark on his performance. Froch struggled with Pascal, but managed to scrape the win and look good whilst doing so... i really dont know who to go for in this fight, something is telling me Taylor is going to gas out in the middle rounds and Froch will KO him. another side of me says that although Taylor hasnt looked impressive since 2005, Froch is just a bum that realises he hasnt got much talent and is seeking a big payday straight away rather than losing his belt to a bum. I'l come back when i make my mind up :D

Taylor will dominate early rounds. Froch will come on from Round 7 onwards. But Taylor should be too good for him, even when Froch has moments of success.
I hope it isn't a blow out.
I know that I like Taylor by stoppage, but it is hard to put a round on it. My best guess is that after six rounds or so, the ref and/or corner will have seen enough, and Taylor will get the TKO.
Pavlik beat Taylor (twice) by using his reach, power and lead left hand while loading up with the right. Froch doesn't have this style so any comparison to that fight is pointless. Froch does however, throw a lot more uppercuts and wild hooks and if Taylor's smart then Jermain can dodge and counter all night. It's a really great fight in my view but I feel Taylor has the ringsmarts to edge out a decision. I just think nerves will play a part for Froch and he could be outclassed like many other Brits that have tried to make a name in the US.
A Froch win is the best thing that could happen in British boxing right now though. If he wins, it sets up some massive fights at SMW for Froch. If he loses, we'll see more WBO bollocks for another 5 years or so.
Taylor's last KO win was over 4 years ago back in Feb.2005. Froch has an iron chin, Taylor can't stop him.
Froch is the bigger, stronger, tougher man and I think he has too much heart and power for Taylor.
I got Froch by late KO
I agree, if Taylor can't stop JM weights like Ouma or Spinks. how is he going to stop the Super middle weight of the world.
Froch is no Pavlik and he will realize that. Or will he? Hmm i remember Pav being bigger than Taylor and how much trouble that got Taylor in. I see Froch's people thinking they can pull it off likewise.
