Not really, he didn't put much pressure on the glove. It just skimmed the canvas when he was punched of balance. He got hit with a punch and his gloved touched the canvas, its a knockdown. End of, you may be a big fan of his, but don't try and cover up fact. He was knocked down with a punch....

technically it was a knockdown, but it didn't effect the outcome of the fight and therefore irrelevant.

That was an unoffical knockdown, Probably Mayweather's only one I really don't count the Carlos Hernandez knockdown.

it was a legit kd that the ref didnt catch ... not all that controversial imo ... zabby caught him good knocked pbf off balance and a glove touched the canvas ... even if it was called its not like pbf was seriously hurt or on his ass

And Mayweather's glove hit the canvas as a direct result of a punch, hence it is a knockdown and a 10-8 round. Yup, that is a knock-down. Given, Floyd wasn't hurt and the punch caused him to get knocked off balance from the result of Floyd coming in the way he did, so it wasn't a flash-knockdown....but it should have still been considered a knock-down. Glove hit the canvas and he used it to regain his balance. Anybody have the rule note on this?
