Agree Pac is a tougher fight than Mosley was , Cotto could not beat Floyd if his life depended on it , Floyd is way too fluid for Cotto .

Shane Mosley stands less chance of beatin Mayweather than Pac and Cotto. He is too old and tailor made for Mayweather. Mosley does not have the style intelligence or youth to beat Mayweather. I disagree SSM pressed Winky, but he got picked off something chronic. He will get hit with too many clean shots and lose a wide decision imo. Plus he gets tired these days. Only reason he did not get as tired against Marg was because he held onto him to half Marg's workrate. Cotto/Pac have youth and speed and above all they have the reflexes that Mosley no longer has. Cotto was hitting Mosley with ease and sliding under nearth him. Imagine what Mayweather would do. How old will Mosley be if they get it on? Floyd's gotta fight Marquez before that, if it does happen. Shane was blowing against Cotto, and he was gettin nailed with flush shots by Cotto. So wait...you mean to tell me the Number 1 WW int the world stands no chance aginst Floyd. Wow.... That Mayweather guy must be pretty damn good. Considering SSM beat Margarito...Collazo....and almost beat Cotto at WW. No he is not the number 1 WW in the world in my eyes. It makes no difference if he beat Marg. At the end of the day, he beat Marg because stylistically he had the style to beat him. In the minds of fickle fans it may catapult him there, but if you apply some commonsense its quite obvious he is not the best at 147.

mosley has a better chance to beat floyd than cotto... cotto stamina and chin are average while mosley has great stamina and chin.

I wouldnt say that he has less than a chance to beat pbf per say but i see your point.Now Cotto was able to get to SSm bcuz his timing not bcuz he slowed down but he has more of a chance to lose to pbf bcuz floyd will not let him hold on an his reflexes are still sharp!!!!Mosley does not have the style to beat Floyd but Floyd cant deal with pressure fighters an if mosley can press the action then hes able to win .But yea i understand where you comin from my man!!!!!

even the biggest mayweather fans who are true boxing fans wants to see and have wanted to see mosley vs mayweather for years and if theres any chance of it happening lets get it done. hopkins160-calzaghe168-jones175 while dominating there divisions fans wanted for years for these men 2 collide probably werent happy with the outcome of the bouts but happy that the fights got done. what im saying is i dont care who wins this fight i have been wanting to see this fight for a long time.

It's still debatable because Mosley also doesn't have a win against Cotto and they've fought. It can go either way. I see it like this : Mosley beat the man (Margarito) who beat the man (Cotto)..... so in my opinion Mosley is the man at 147. It's still debatable because Mosley also doesn't have a win against Cotto and they've fought. It can go either way. I was just curious. I could of been wrong. I thought Mosely was losing, but then again i did not score the fight and you never get a true reflection unless you tally up the rounds. To Mosley's defence i did think that his timing was off. I did'nt think he looked old or shot just that his timing was not there etc.

You guys are blinded by the way Shane looked against Margarito. Shane has a problem with "boxers" and awkward fighters. Margarito is there to be hit and blocks with his face. I can't argue with that and I agree to an extent. Shane has had issues with boxers when they start dictating the pace, but at the same time he's in no way a walk in the park for Floyd. Shane IMO will try to trap Floyd and just put tight pressure on him to get his shots off. How well is Floyd's defense after almost a 2 yrs hiatus? We shall find out. Now where I see Cotto vs Floyd being the more interesting fight is based on their styles. Cotto is real tricky with the way he selects his shots. I saw it in the Shane fight, but after watching the slo mos and saw how he was timing Shane and sneaking in those straight rights while giving Shane the notion he's going to the body...that's definitely a sign of overall ring smarts as far as outpointing your opponent. Floyd's also incredibly intelligent in the ring and contrary to what people believe on here, he in now way is going to coast through a fight with Cotto. I think it'll be a tough task for both guys in 12 rounds of suspense. I really hope they make this fight next year be it Cotto stays on a run.
