Why is it in epsidoe 2 of 24/7 Roach and Moore are studying Hatton tapes while Floyd Sr. takes his sweet ass time heading over to train Hatton and stops off and to get some Taco Bell. Is Hatton's camp even studying tapes of Pacquiao especially Floyd Sr. Also didnt Floyd Sr. have this thing about fighting southpaws and warned Floyd Jr. Yes Hatton looks good in training and shows that he has learned to hit mitts and do the whole mitt defense thing, but does that help in the ring?
What have you noticed about 24/7 ep2, other then Pacquiao and Roachs new houses..
Boring episode. But damn! Pac keeps on brutalizing his sparring partners.
Looks like Roach is gonna retire in a couple of years or so. It's more likely his gonna pass his torch to Moorer,... or to that one-eye guy.
Sr is great tv. Mayweather family needs there own show and fast.
It was a great episode only parts i could complain about was listening to Hattons family. Please never let his parents or girl speak on 24/7 again. Thats valuable time that Sr could be using. That dude who lives at Wild Card is crazy. Having a knife fight with no knife is crazy.
Boxing personalities and that World is certainly interesting.
But fundamentals late in a fighters career against a fighter who is no push over?
He has no choice. If he doesn't, it will be the same old Hatton and what good is that for Sr?
The JAB is the key to everything. At least Sr. got Hatton working that again.
He has to get Hatton back to Pre-Tszyu Hatton and add some Mayweather to him.
Pac should be favored in this fight to be honest. Pac doesn't have to think when fighting and Hatton might catch himself thinking to much of what he has learned in the past weeks.
I wouldn't be surprised if Hatton is perfecting one or two special counter/combos that will be instinctual to make-up for short time he has with Sr.
For instance: If pac jumps in with the right-jab, left-cross....Hatton can take a step to his left and counter with a left-hook to the liver/body-shot followed by a left-hook to the head, right-cross combo. That's one example.
It's in interesting fight for sure.

People, including Pac's team, are still going to wonder how much Floyd Sr. can really do for Hatton in such a short time. This is only the second fight they are together and even though Sr. seems to work fast with remolding his fighters, Hatton is going up against a polished Pacman who has been with Freddie Roach for a long time now.
Sr. basically said that Hatton couldn't even hit the pads right...WTF. However, Sr. has also has indicated that Hatton learns incredibly fast and has a sharp mind and he is surprised at how fast he has progressed.......so we'll see.
It's really hard to tell because like Jr., you only see Hatton hitting the pads and no sparring sessions. It's always, see Jr. hit the pads; see Jr. run; see Jr. talk some trash...but never see Jr. spar or talk strategy. Hatton's on the same pace so far...but we'll see next week.
You also have to consider that Sr. understands that the fundamentals are KEY to winning. And what did JMM have when he fought Pac? Great fundamentals. It's not like Hatton is starting from scratch where he has never been in a Pro fight. Sr. is just working on the flaws Hatton has, like he should.

Oh I never said Hatton wasnt serious, I know he wants this fight. But clearly it looks like Mayweather Sr. is teaching the basic fundamentals of boxing with Hatton rather then a fight strategy or strategy against a southpaw fighter. But your right maybe thats what they want us to see. Well see.

Thats what they want you to believe.
Did you notice Mayweather-Hatton 24/7 was more "Hatton based in that how good Hatton was".
I said before the fight to a mate whilst watching it, they said "Hatton looks great on 24/7, I don't think much about that Mayweather kid except for his big mouth". To which I replied "If 24/7 makes Hatton seem unstoppable and an amazing fighter, imagine how good that makes Mayweather look when he beats him".
Believe me, Hatton isn't messing around, he's deadly serious.
Well we will all find out in 13 days :)

Well they must of edited goods parts of Hattons camp cause ill I see is him doing is goofing around, just learning how to hit mitts, and jump roping.

It is really making Floyd Sr. kind of look bad because you rarely hear strategy from him but you do with Roach. But remember Floyd Jr. did the same thing and only gave one thing away for his fight against Hatton. Mayweathers are barking dogs when it comes to promotion and silent as a Starfish when dealing with strategy.
So in the end, if I'm right (which I'm not sure), then Sr. is doing the right thing by not giving anything away. Here's hoping he is watching tape and is breaking down Manny instead of sleeping in and running late for no reason.
I like what I see from Manny's camp so far.
True true, maybe they arent trying to give away too much good point cause clearly these episodes show Hatton JUST LEARNING the fundamentals of boxing.
have you heard of editing?

A week or 2 slashed down into 25 minutes.
Do you really think we get the whole picture?
Out of watching the two episodes I have gotten Pacquiao looking vicious in camp while Hatton learning how to just hit mitts and learn defense. I have learned alot coming out of Mayweather Sr. mouth "What is strength if you cant hit anything". Remember these episodes are filmed during the peak periods of training.
hatton has said in earlier interviews he has watched pac fights....this was about first week of april...when the did the LA presser....ummm I still think if both guys show up and do what they have done there whole carears....it has the makings of a classic....
pacman should be a solid favorite.....but
hatton is a rated 9.0 or 10 Underdog
