haha wow could you please use some logic!!!!! Oscar knew he has was down 6 rounds to 0 entering that round and gettin it handed to him. So why the hell would he take an even worse ass whooping in that 7th rd when the fight was in the bag for Pac already??? And Oscar has always been focused on his "good looks" so he's not just gonna let some fighter have target practice on his face at least not intentionally! Oscar just got flatout destroyed end of story!
Oh and the reason he held onto the rope was because he was losing balance and used the rope to hold him up. If he would have tried to slide away he would have gone down easy knockdown for pac. that actually would have been better "proof" of him throwing the fight!
Oscar has said that he just wanted Manny to knock him out because he felt so drained and just wanted the fight to be over. That may have been the reason he pulled himself back into the corner, in hopes of Manny just knocking him the fuck out, but Oscar's horse head was able to absorb Manny's bombs.
The moment oscar said "I want revenge for my mexican folks", I knew he was throwing the fight away. I dont think he cares at all for his mexican folks. He just wanted money. Manny gave it to him.
c'mon mang... there are easier ways to throw a fight than getting your ass kicked.
i don't think he "threw" the fight either.....he was a lil' disoriented from the countless punches he took....DLH just wasn't "right." he weighed in at 144, and fight night he was only 147?

So will Hatton and Mayweather
i think hatton's gonna stop him. mayweather beats him and stops him late probably, but mayweather doesn't have a "combative" style like hatton and cotto, so a mayweather pacman fight would be competitive longer.
you're right, all three guys beat him, i just said cotto b/c supposedly that's the "next big fight," but cotto beats pacman worse than floyd or hatton does.
this video just reaffirms the fact that pacman vs. cotto would be murder......pacman is like a midget in there, and although he clocked oscar over and over, he never hurt him.....the fight was stopped b/c oscar was just a punching bag, and could do nothing offensively.
cotto would murder pacman.
No all fighters DON'T say that don't make shit up, many fighters say "wow that was the hardest hitter I ever faced" etc etc I can give you tons of examples right now to make you feel stupid.
Fact of the matter is Pac never hurt Oscar once and Pac's little baby slaps would never come close to hurting Oscar.
I have learnt to take what a lot of boxers say with a pinch of salt.
What is always great fun is reading the 2 fighters accounts of the same fight especially the pre tv era. You'll hear the fighter who got knocked down in every round say it was a hometown decision etc etc.
Re this fight, DLH was just very poor, I wouldn't want to suggest any fighter threw a fight without a lot of evidence. DLH is/was shot I think is the most logical explaination.
Im telling you right now.. This fight was thrown..
There is over whelming evidence that it was..
Since when has nacho ever said, HES TOO FAST..
I think weight was a big of the issue, but not as much as all of you think..
I mean, the nodding of DLH to Pacman after every middle round shows that everything is OK and going to plan.. LIke its OK man..
anything with oscar behind it, DONT BET on it.. always something fishy.. I would elaborate more, but i dont post on these forums these days nor do i care too
Oscar cant sing either :puke:
Me thinks his acting career is off to a shaky start to:lol1:

interestingly holmes idol was ali just as pac's idol was oscar
go figure
if anything maybe pac held back on oscar ???
This is a good point... I still say DLH was drained at the weight though.. Sid Vicious looked in better physical condition just before wasting his bird....
I think we have a misunderstanding here, I think you're saying that DLH at some point during the fight consciously decided that he couldn't win the fight and decided to take his punishment, which would be correct, that did happen. Throwing the fight to me means that he and Pacquiao or Top Rank had a deal for him to lose and he got extra money for it or something, which I do not believe happened.
I dont believe that. I sensationalized the thread name :lol1:
Pacquiao was not nailing him that badly early on though. When he was fresh he was trying to take it to Pacquiao, but as soon as he felt his energy levels start to drop he had two decisions, fight hard and get stopped or take a beating and try and get the fight stop compassionately by the ref or cornerman.
