Fighters that let you down?

Hopkins vs Taylor - He could've easily won either of the two if he didn't opt to take the first few rounds as some sort of sparring session. I still think he won the rematch pretty damn convincingly, but the judges still didn't give it to him, and it was close. (I had it 115-113 for Bernard) Barrera vs. Pacquiao 2 - Another example of a fighter not letting his hands go often enough. Pacquiao looked like absolute dogshit this night IMO, and Barrera could've easily capitalized on it and made some sort of statement, and possibly even gotten a win. When he let his hands go, he looked like the Barrera of old, but he rarely ever let them go to begin with. i gotta say those were two of mine as well after thinking about this more. Hop could of easily made it more convincing and Barrera being hesitant was pissing me off. even though i like both Barrera was and is always one of my top favorites. Mike Tyson - he was the reason i got into the sport as a kid.

tyson in the kevin mcbride fight. i know it was his last fight and he needed some money but he should have gone all out to finish with a good attempt or even a win if he was determined enough

Yeah... ODLH.. Had money he wouldn't retire.. And Jeff Fenech getting stopped by Azumah Nelson.. This was after getting robbed in their first encounter which was declared a draw...

mikkel kessler - one of my favourite fighter but never seem to get a decent big fight, the few times he has received offers they haven't been that good forh him financially

he was getting hit with plaster dude..... not even floyd can tek those pounches....... We dont 100% Know that....and part of the reason we cant be 100% sure is because Cotto's uncle fucck up by showing up late and not sending the right people 2 check Margarito's wraps but for argument sake lets say Margarito beat him fair and square..cotto's lost margarito really left me dissatisfied and he let me down

Cotto losing 2 Margarito... Really fucck up allot of things in boxing. And a small part of me felt dissatisfied that he lost 2 a fighter who IMO is nothing back a slow moving punching bag. Cotto let me and allot of fans down that night.

I heard a couple of weeks ago that he wont get his license back untill the shit in spain is sorted out mate. A mate of mine is telling me Scott has been living like a monk though and has been in the gym. living like a monk? i believe that when I see it!! More like drinking that tonic wine the monks make, Buckfast, like all the other Glaswegians! Fair play to him if he is though, he had/has a lot more skills than most from these shores. He's get a liscence in Nevada surely, they'd let anyone fight.

Scott Harrison for obvious reasons whats the story with him now? I was talking about him to a mate yesterday, was supposed to go see him fight in belfast a couple of years ago and he was in jail/rehab. Replaced by Danny Williams at 3 days notice!

Kelly Pavlik V BHOP. Not too sure whether it was BHOP being so good or KP being so shit. Was a big disapointment though.

Prince Naz, not losing to Barrera, theres no shame in that even though I fully expected Naz to win, but what he did, or didnt do more to the point after the fight. He had one more fight, performed like shit even though he got a UD, and just never fought again. He didnt retire, he didnt tell anyone I'm retiring because of whatever ,he just never got in the ring again. So much talent and flair, and with hindsight could have been involved in some of the best fights in the modern era. Moralles, JMM, Barrera rematch, Pacman. He got me into the sport, and I'll always have a soft spot for him, but I'd love to smash his lazy bone-idle, Allah will win for me and I wont have to do shit attitude, head through a window for not fulfilling his true potential.

antonio margarito-he was like the darling of boxing after he beat cotto....and then the cheating just runied it for me marquez- if he wasnt such a slow starter he beats pac "officially" without a debate about it tyson- if he had a little more common sense about life, he wouldnt have the baggage haunting him and his carear

A few randoms that come to mind Forrest vs Mora 1- WTF?!? It should have never even been close. Taylor vs Spinks- Again, WTF?!? I actually gave the fight to Spinks. Tszyu vs Hatton- My all time favorite fighter, and I know he came from a long lay off and wasnt young and strong enough to win that type of rough house fight from Hatton (big Hatton fan as well, but he got away with total murder in that fight foul wise) but it still sucked to see him go out the way he did. I think with a different ref he wins that fight. It's not like it was a blow out. But I was let down because I was expecting Kostya to knock Ricky on his ass (and out) but what I got was him quitting. Tyson vs Mcbride- Yeah I know he was just in there for a pay day, but come on man. If he even wanted to train and fight a little bit he would have murdered that bum. Lewis vs Grant- I know this is an odd one, and I was rooting for Lennox, but I didnt expect Grant to completely fold and never be in the fight. I expected a Lewis KO, but not that quick.
