Ricky Hatton's sparring partners...

I advice hatton to get a better headgear... it's not good getting tagged all time in the face. That's great advice. I'm sure a 46 pro fight, 80 am fight, two weight world champion, 20 year veteran of the sport will appreciate your advice.

One advice... don't believe anything that roach is saying before the fight. When he said they have the same style that's what he want's you to believe, only a blind man thinks that they have the same style. Have you seen pac lately? he's more like a boxer puncher. Same thing when hatton's camp said that he will come and box more which i highly doubt, rickly will be ricky... he might add up a thing or two to his arsenal but he can't be a boxer like the way he says he will. moorer is a good thing in a way that he can help freddy manage the gym and all but that's it. ye its not worth listening to either camp,roach keeps saying it will be over in 3 rounds lol.i just cant wait 2 see how manny takes a big shot to the head and to the body,i think that will be a telling point in the fight

There's a difference between "not the same fighter" and "a shot fighter". Pac is not the same fighter when he was in featherweight that doesn't mean pac is shot. whats up with all these michael moorer stuff? the guy had nothing to do with this? he is just there to assist he ain't even pac's trainer. When you say roach trashed marquez by calling him a crybaby? then yes... but roach never dissed marquez's boxing skills. fact! but its really suprising to me how he has really given marquez a lot of credit...i just know it suprised me....i'm glad your not big on michael moorer...some of the people on here were like wow michael moorer hw champ.....what i find is interesting is he says ricky and pac are similar in that they both like to fight more instead of box...and that will help pac claims roach....well to me that wlaking into ricky's style imo.....do you really want to do that with a brawler freddy?

Why does this statement ever get made? I mean we all know the triangle theory is bullshit but people are now desperate enough to play the triangle game with sparring partners!? You haven't been keeping up with the threads lately, obviously, and I'm not that desperate. I am never that person who keeps comparing oranges and apples, but somebody here does. Hatton has been saying he had 6 sparring partners, and he would have 2 rounds with one partner, then they'd jump out and another would come straight in, also changing tactics as the spars swapped over. Getting a few bruises from 10-12 straight rounds of boxing against a bigger guy in Lara, a light-welter and quick, tough smaller guys is pretty much to be expected. Also, how can you judge his sparring when you have not seen how he performed? He could have inflicted more damage on his partners for all we know.. Very true, that's why mum is the word when it comes to Hatton's training camp, same with Pacquiao's, not unless were both privy to both parties' day-to-day affairs. One irrefutable fact is, Roach's training method is proven by time. He knows what type of training camp Pacman needs, and he's basing it on Pacman's next victim, errr, opponent. ye i think there was a report out too, that antillon won that grand...by knocking pac down by.......body shot....some i heard claim it was a slip....in pac's defense it was like his first sessions back in late march

ricky is getting worked by his sparring mates ineed. lol nobody has seen both fighters worked in their camps... what you see in the 24/7 were just highlights. Pac sparring partners are clearly above ricky's... just check out the records. All we know is that ricky was working with newbies and his blacked eyes shows that he was getting tagged! and please don't diss roach coz he knows his boxing better than you do. what you're thinking right now is exactly what roach wants you and hatton's team to think. Hold the press! Hatton get's tagged! U ever seen him fight? He always gets tagged. He occasionally ends up a bloody mess. He eats punches for breakfast, lunch and dinner. these guys are jr. middle....they would take pac's head clean off....i hope roach is working on manny taking body shots...instead of avoiding them....hes going to need that training imo lol!
