yet i bet u cant even go 1 round with areeola, let alone become a professional boxer, so please.
I know I could kick your ass, and thats all that matters ugly.
Pro boxing needs a superheavyweight division, not a fat slob division.
Almost all the super-heavies are fat slobs. What is the point of a division for just 6 people?
Heres a picture of me in my avatar, yes pistolwhip I'm so fat with my body fat percentage at 10 percent. :)
Unlike chris arreola's fat ass, I work hard for my body. I jog every single day, I try to even eat healthy at times. And when I don't eat healthy. I jog harder and longer.
I'm 5'10 and 180 pounds.

Also I think some of you need to remember:
All it takes to be a "Pro" is a physical from a doctor and a license fee.
You're gettin a lil out of hand with the pro shit.
That's a fukkin bum
Ugh he's had 10 plus years in the ring and has fought in over 27 pro fights so if he wasn't at a pro level he wouldn't get licensed in places like Vegas and New York where they wont even license Evander Holyfield and he just challanged for World Title. I would understand if this was a guy who fought 2 or 3 pro fights and got beaten up badly buthe's not. He's won 18 pro fights while he's nowhere even close to being considered a fringe contender but he is a journeyman so im sorry but hes a full pro.
These guys receive thick paychecks, as well as fame/recognition for fist fighting. I think the min ****ing req is not looking like a marshmallow.
So in order to box you think you should have to look a certinway?
No offense but thats pretty fuking ignorent!
I thought all that was required was simply being able to compete at that level?
Gabe Brown, he is one of roy jones jrs fighters.

seriously that first pic, that was taken after the first round right?
looking winded as ****.
he does look like a melted candle.

I'm not trying to argue with you I'm just trying to point out to you that you are in no position to call any proboxer out of shape when you yourself are not a proboxer.
Thats all I'm saying!

If you show up to a fight carrying that much body fat:
It's a tell tale indicator that you aren't training very hard if training at all. That's disgraceful and I'd disagree with the "no position to call someone out of shape" um.........that's far from out of shape.
he's a tub of lard, and a disgrace to boxing.

Naah man, that man is beyond fat, he's morbidly o****INGbese. Now im not saying you have to be super fit to make it in any sport, but that guys a joke; take for example matt le tissier, this guy was nowhere near the fittest of football (soccer) players, but he made it up in terms of skill, and shit loads of it (quick google search will suffice). I just don't see that guy being an incredibly good boxer, but fair play to him for getting in the ring and trying i suppose.
Yeah but because of the lazy way he played the game, it stopped him from getting more international caps. That and the fact he didn't join a bigger club, which would have meant harder work for him.
Sure I agree that the lack of talent in the division has a lot to do it but I'm not starstruck by the word pro I just think it's laughable that an average man somehow is equal to even the crappiest "pro" athlete. I don't know if I respect the sport more than you or what but it takes a lot more than what the average man has to offer to be a pro otherwise that defeats the whol definition of the world. If being in moderate shape is all it requires to be a "pro" athlete then we coud all be pro's.
Well they're obviously not equal in skill, but I'd say a hell of a lot of them are in better shape than some of these guys, and that's embarrassing for the so-called professionals. You're saying about respecting the sport? Do you think these guys are respecting the sport coming in overweight? Boxers and other people in combat sports deserve credit when it's due as they're out there putting themselves at risk for our entertainment, but by no means am I blinded by the fact they're professional sportsmen.
There are lots of people out there putting their lives at risk in civilian jobs. I respect them a lot more than any boxer or other sportsman, fit or not.
Everyone understands what you are getting at man but also like someone said a lot of people could just get in the ring and hang on or run for 10 rounds if they have the chin for it.
I've seen tons of overweight guys do things that I couldn't in my wildest dreams do but overall they are not in great shape they are very gifted and talented though.
Was James Toney in better shape than Holyfield?
Was Buster in better shape than Tyson?
Come on there is a difference great cardio doesn't always mean you are 'in shape' just that you are in great cardio shape.
There is only one fatty in the division that I can think of who can throw punches all 12 rounds, that being Alexander Povetkin. He threw about 900 punches at Eddie Chambers and amazingly he was sick with the flu, or at least that is what his manager claims. 900 is about double the heavyweight average. The question is, can he do it against an opponent who is fighting back?
?
Come on there is a difference great cardio doesn't always mean you are 'in shape' just that you are in great cardio shape.
But thats what matters and it's also your overall skill level. I mean seriously what does great abs do for you if you have no cardio? I see it all the time especially when you think about all the times Wlad has gassed in big fights over the years. Shit I watch MMA all the time and I see these really fit muscular guys gassing all over the place yet the chubby guy in my sig has the best cardio among HW MMA fighters and is ranked among the top 3 PFP fighters in MMA.
I'm just saying if you have great cardio but a less than pleasing body would nice abs and great pecks really do anything for you in a boxing match??
fell ya. Im in the gym 5 days a week and Im 6'1" 214lbs between about 8.5-10% bf depending on the week. I can spar 6 full contact rounds but Im dead for about 3 days afterwards. So I know I cant go pro, but Id be willing to step in there with Gabe.
Woah, who is that? Oh, that is when Chris Arreola took this sport seriously by training hard and not coming in at 255 pounds of fat
And yes i agree he is in much better "fighting" shape there but he's not gonna win a body beautiful contest either. He's still chubby and he's gonn abe chubby forever.
You seem to be starstruck by the word ''pro'', as if it means these people are demigods or something. They're not, and they have to train just as hard as the average man on the street to stay in the best physical condition possible. Some of these heavyweights are just lucky that because they have a bit of skill and there's very little depth to the division, they can get away with being in their comfort zones.
If there were decent fighters who fought at a high intensity level, these guys would be shown up.
