We all know Tyson bit him in the ear, but he said because Holyfield was butting, and i could see him butting all fight. He even opened a cut from butting and the ref didn't do nothing. But still doesn't give him the right.
Mike started to come on in the 3rd, and his head movement was looking REALLY good in this fight.
DO you think he would have won this fight if he kept fighting????

that is a pretty bad cut over tyson eye. hell all holyfield had to due was work that eye for a round or two and the fight is stopped on cuts. i bet mike felt a sense of urgency and obvious rage from getting headbutted.
funny how no one attacks Evander for juicin up for the first fight.
After the Czyz fight he suddenly reappears, with bigger biceps, bigger ego, and all of a sudden superior conditioning.
Tyson was the typical bully, the first time someone stood up to him and showed him no fear, he showed he was a coward.LOL Typical Teddy Atlas, and Bert Sugar bullshit.
these guys never learn......

Nah...Holyfield was already getting his jab off and landed some flush shots and controlling the fight. Yea, Holyfield is notorious for head butts, but I think it was more of frustration on Mike not being able to do anything. Holyfield was the fighter that always had his number, simple as that. He just had the style to beat Tyson.
Nice way of repeating every hater. The fight was actually not going the same way at all. In the 3rd round it was all Tyson as he was having the best round in both fights and it left Holy to dig deep with a few more headbutts untill.

Evander doesn't even start a fight unless he's been hurt or knocked down. He's a true warrior that doesn't quit in the face of adversity.
Tyson knew he couldn't beat Holyfield and bailed himself out by biting him, taking the cowards way out.
tyson was going to lose but holy is a dirty headbutting steroid taking phoney, i actaully understand why tyson bit him holy was headbutting with disregard for saftey and the rules and then begged for the ref to stop it after getting retalitated against
mike would of got him, he hurt steroid user Evan Fields a few times in that round.. i know a pre prison tyson would of got him for sure.. the reason he bit Evan was because he was being held and head butted over and over again and the ref didnt do anything about it
Tyson complaining about someone fighting dirty?? HAhaha that's a good one. That's like Pamela Anderson complaining about fake tits....
Holyfield > Tyson all day everyday and forever.
tyson could have as someone said before hand when he threw combos they were so fast, accurate and sharp it was frightening, when he landed them properly with intent he was nigh on unstoppable. its really strange because the third round was his best round and then he goes and does something like that! mike never was the strongest guy mentally.
after this fight it was all downhill for mike, as his career went on he started to rely on his power more and one punch to KO his opponent. he also lost his physical skills and his reflexes and speed which were so important for him were also never the same.
If Tyson kept that 3rd round for a couple of more rounds, i think he woulda knocked Holyfield out
You're buggin'.
Tyson had a big third round is such a fallacy. he came out throwing like the wind and 30 seconds later (when Holyfield had weathered the storm--more like a drizzele, actually) the fight reverted to the same thing that had been going on the previous two rounds.
Tyson was in better shape but, from the looks of it, so was Holyfield. Sh*t, he might not have even lost the third round if the fight continued.
IMO, Prime v Prime.
Tyson takes a UD.
Fact of the matter is, Tyson's career ended when he went to Prison.
His record before Prison and after prison says it all.
Mike Tyson's career = 101 excuses. The man was an exciting fighter, but he got found out because he was lacking mental stability. The man who exposed it was the complete opposite of that. Holyfield probably one of the most durable mentally strong champions of that era.
You mean 1996 when Tyson paid millions to not fight Lennox Lewis as his mandatory?
Lewis said that he would've been no match when Tyson was in his prime and he was still in the amateurs. I think everyone can agree with that.
thats what i meant. I got the times mixed up.
But which belt was it where Lennox was his mandatory?
Lewis didn't want to fight Mike in that time, he even said so himself. He said that Mike would have killed him. That why Lennox fought him in 2001 when Mike was all Old, Slow, and Beatable.
