hello,
this is a pointless thread, but check out bradley at 150.
he looks really big here, i reckon he could fight at super welter without a problem!

Yet, the brown guy in these pics gets killed for not fighting all the top WW's/ JMW's.
Odd

and again .. why are you comparing Mayweather to Bradley of all people .. Floyd could probably fight at 160 vs the right opponent and still win .. Floyd is a Pound For Pound top level fighter and one of the best.
where Bradley is still up in coming in his career and just coming off his biggest win in his last fight.
**and why does Floyd's name always have to poke it's way into a thread? it's not odd that the best fighter in the world gets crap for not fighting the best at his respective weight class .. because he (Floyd) is one of the best himself.
said above me but
"It's more about frame size and skill to over-come height"
Floyd can get away with fighting at the higher weight classes because of his skill level.
"Yet, the brown guy in these pics gets killed for not fighting all the top WW's/ JMW's.
Odd"
**not really, if Floyd's gonna fight at 147, why not fight the best at 147? why is that such an absurd thing to say
because that picture you put up might be a welterweight match up (Hatton vs Floyd)
but Floyd is in there vs a man who has fought most all of his career at 140.
He is 5'6".
He is Hatton's/Manny's height
Tyson: 5'11....HW
Tua: 5'10...HW
Sam Langford: 5′6½ and didn't need no stickin weight-divisions
Duran: 5'7
Rockiy Graziano: 5'7 MW
Pernell Whitaker: 5'6
Cotto: 5'7
etc. etc. etc.
It's more about frame size and skill to over-come height
I actually remember reading his interview on 1STROUND magazine not long ago, that once he's done with the 140 division then He plans to actually go to 135...where he is also comfortable at. IMO 147 is too big for him...
Yesterday everyone was saying that there is no way he can fight at WW because he would get KO but I told them, how do they know that he wont be like Cotto who had a weak chin at 140 because he was drained but had a strong chin at WW? Bradley may look better at WW because he doesnt have to kill himself to make weight
i think bradley makes weight just fight at 140
He'd be hard pressed to do well at 147 - he just doesn't have the height or reach to fight there. I remember reading a while back that he thinks he can make 135. Frankly, if he loses his belts he might be better served by moving down there. There are more big fights to be made at 135, and if he can carry his power down he could be a beast compared to some of the lighter punchers in the division.
Yeah, he looks pretty small to me, i'd think he'd better served sticking where he is-or going down.
If he goes up, he faces the exact same issues Hatton does at that weight, and even more so because Hatton is reasonably heavy handed and can hurt fighters at the top level. Bradley punches his weight - no more.

Bradley, Hatton and Pacquiao are all the same height, and would probably all have trouble north of 147 for the exact same reasons (lack of size being one)
**I know Pacquiao is undefeated at 147 but only fight vs DLH not a great test of how good Pac stacks up at Welter.
and sure Cotto's only an inch in height (5'7) on Pac, Hatton and Bradley
but he's physically much stronger and more suited at the weight (147)
**hey we'll see though if Bradley ever makes the move up to Welter.

yea, he is a hobbit for sure. but im talking about frame size. he has alot of muscle, and he seems as if he could manage welter/super welter no problem with his frame.
eh I think looking at frame he might have a chance .. but Bradley doesn't carry the power to hang with the bigger men at 147, IMO.
you know he's 5'6 right? that would be VERY small for 147. But even at 140 vs Holt he looked kinda small
they did say he was a vegan last night I believe.

hey,
i think that pic must be of him with some liquids in him, he does not look nearly as cut as fight night.
he is quite short, so mabye super welter might be to big for him. but no doubt he is big for a light welterweight.
here is a pic of him on weigh in day for comparison

Interesting article, some can pull off that method while others can't. He only maintains that strict diet during training, which is probably a good approach. There are dangers to being what one might term "overly" healthy - Bruce Lee should be evidence enough of that.
he does seem to be very clean living wonder if he smokes or drinks?
i remember watching a video of him and he said 5 days prior to training he fasts and that is a natural detox for the body - just thought id add it because its not mentioned in the article.
There is a great article in the link below on how Bradley keeps in shape and his dieting habits:

Well worth a read.

is that when hes deyhydrated or rehydrated?
on a sidenote timmy is a really thickly set guy, hes one of those guys who always turns up looking fit, focussed and sharp - he has spoken before about moving up to 147 personaly i think 154 might b to much for him.
yes he looks good even at 150 but hes pretty small, kirkland, williams and angulo are alot bigger than him, a fight at 154 might materialize at the end of his career but not anytime soon. so far iv not heard much about troubles making weight so i can see him at 140 for now.
