April 24th...can't believe it hasn't been leaked to the net yet.
x2 but it will be in a week or two. DVDRips are usually out anywhere from a month til 2 weeks before it hits stores. sometimes sooner depending on which region gets it first. thought since this isnt a movie movie they might take longer. Tropic Thunder UNRATED didnt come out til a day or two before it hit stores but the rated one was out weeks earlier.
one kept getting posted everywhere last year saying it was the doc but all it was was the Tyson movie made for HBO.
It was good. Not great, purely because I didn't learn anything new from the documentary. It was good to have Mike solely narrating the whole thing, and he's narrating it almost like a reformed character looking back on the past. But thats really the main selling point of it, that and some nice editing work.
All the archival material though I had seen before.
Plus, even though all the major review sites are saying its unbiasd and lets you decide for yourself, Spoiler -> when it came to bouts, I thought it suggested too many excuses why Mike lost a few of his fights. Especially the Evander fights, they really played up the headbutts. Some may argue that this was fact though, but they didn't pay much credit to Evander being the better fighter imo.
thanks for the review, i've been waiting for this one to come out.
how was it? how is it different form other Tyson documentaries other than that it's narrated by him?
