Let's say Lennox is lured out of his retirement and gives Vitali Klitschko the rematch he was promised in 6 months.
Who'd win?
If it would have happened 6 months after their first fight I'd say Lennox would win and rather easily.....But say 6 months from now, at Lennox age and given the fact that VK has looked very good since his return I think VK would batter an old Lewis....and as a huge Lennox fan I'd hate to see it happen.

Should have never stopped it.
It's a consiparacy against White HW's i tells ya
It means that he was the second best HW around. Like Jerry Quarry was when Ali returned.
Which means the heavyweight division as it stands, stinks. We all know it.
WTF this is crazy i voted for lennox just to show how shit this thread is.
Lennox would be the slowest fattest boxer ever, if he came back now. 6 yrs of inactivity. Whats even worse is the klit shaggers saying leenox has no excuse because klit was out for 4 yrs.
Get your head out of his arse.
What does that mean, that Peter was the #2 heavyweight? It doesn't mean anything really. Peter is not that good. Just not. He could barely beat a
former middleweight--an old, out of shape one at that. And look at all the sh*t Ruiz gets. Taking four years off, coming back and drubbing Sam Peter is an indictment of the heavyweight division, not an exaltment of Vitali.
And Lennox Lewis is old. Old, old, old. Think about it, he was the same age Vitali is NOW when he fought Vitali nearly six years ago! Which means he's ancient. The idea is absolutely preposterous which is why Lennox is asking for $100 million to come back.

Vitali returned after 4 years and shut-out the number 2 HW.
Yeh but Peter is hardly the most skilled HW, lets be honest. The only thing Peter has going for him is power something Vitali with his iron chin isn't worried about. Lennox would be coming back at 43 having spent longer boxing that Vitali overall away for 6 years against a guy who has much more than just power going for him.
He was still the no. 2. Lewis nuthuggers also believe that Lewis was unprepared for the first Vitali fight. What if he had a full 6 months to get back into shape?
Remember that Vitali looked to have lost a step in his last fight also.

Vitali would own his ass again for the 2nd time.
But either way: in before 30 page thread
... "2nd time" ?

....I don't think this fight would be remotely competitive. It would have been exactly the same thing if they had rematched right away. Vitali blows him out now or then.
After reading 2 threads about Vitali v lewis, im gonna have to watch the first one again today.
Oh and an old Vitali in 6 months time does some serious damage to a 6 year retired 400lbs lewis.
Lennox has nothing to prove and after being retired for this long has no business getting back into the ring. Look at the state of him, has he even seen the inside of a gym in the last 6 years?
It would take him 9 months just to get back down to 240ish.
maybe according to the judges. I thought he won the last round but he totally spent himself in the process. he was dead tired when that bell rang
all he needed was that 1 minute sit.......he was dead tired after the 4th to be honest!
:lol1: Lewis won the last 2 rounds of the fight right?

He was the champion. Why would he rematch somebody he beat?
First, because he promised rematch and more important because he didn't really beaten Vitali not by score, not by dominating over Vitali and not by Klitchko or his team decision. Only a cut. So, I think honest REAL champion would give a chance to his opponent to resolve any doubts. But Lewis behave as coward. Maby he is not, but he acts so.
Vitali. Lewis has been out the game too long, and is too old even for a HW.
He was the champion. Why would he rematch somebody he beat? Sure, it was on cuts, but as has been said they were from his gloves, not a clash of heads. Unlucky for Vitali, maybe, but there is no doubt whatsoever Lewis won (or 'won').
co-sign :fing02:
Vitali won the first two rounds in the fight, Lewis won the other four.
Vitali could thank God, that the fight stopped.
Lewis is a much better and skilled boxer than Vitali.
Vitali should retire before it is too late.
Lewis had class, he retired as a champion.
