Just keep doing what you're doing - have you had any exhibitions?
Might consider holding one even if its small or local just to get your name out there.
They definately look like their worth more than $500 - plus getting them signed would raise the price
I'm trying to put together a show now. Not an easy thing to do, to make it worth while.
The internet is an amazing thing. I need to get on a ton of forums to increase my exposure. The more the merrier, ya know. This place seems to have some traffic. Somes forums are deadsville...
And I may work with this Chap in the UK, who said he has some marketing tools available to him to help promote me in Europe.
Thats why you guys need to get my paintings while they are still affordable. Once I'm famous, you can say I knew JETSKI when he was selling stuff for $500...now his things are going for $5000!
Its the dream I need to keep living. One day...REALITY STRIKES!

You guys are keeping me hopping, but thats what I'm here for. And thank you for the compliments on my work!
You see, 29 months ago, I was laid off from my civil engineering job, & I haven't been able to find work in that field anywhere here in NJ. And I'm not gonna go work for $12/hr, when I made that kinda $$$ in $1988!!! Plus, with the art talent I have, I must push to promote my work wherever possible, so I can stay busy & continue to sell paintings. Until you really establish a name for yourself, believe me, it isn't ez. But once I'm established, then my artwork won't be as afforable as it is now.
Price range? Lets just say I treat every project individually, so I can't give a price util I know what it is that I'm gonna paint. But as an example, the Calzaghe/Lacy & the Gatti/Ward were sold for just above $500...$525 & $550 respectively. And that may sound like a lot to some, but if you go online & look up sports artist, these guys ask $1000's for their art. And some of them aren't as good as I am...not to brag.
OK, I think I need to respond to a few other posts.
Thanks again for appreciating my paintings!

Where in Jersey are you based out of?
u need to do one for my idol juan manuel marquez.... or erik morales vs pacquiao I
Just let me know, Bro...JMM is one of my favorite fighters. Matter of fact, BOTH Marquez Brothers are.
I meant money wise..... Im sure that they are expensive it looks like there are a lot of hours of work in them....
Thats funny, but I don't like to think about it. Your right though...they do take a while to paint & even if i get $500 for a painting, it still comes down to not a hell of alot per hour. But this is what I love doing, can't find a regular job & must keep working at my passion until I get my break one day. Once I find clients willing to pay $1200+/- for a painting, I'll just keep struggling along.
:smashfrea

I thought this was a joke thread until I went to your blog.
Very nice paintings, you are very talented.
I like how you bring out the raw emotion in some of the works, especially the Calzache knockdown of Lacy.
Not sure I understand your question...
All the paintings shown on my blog are works that were painting by me. Wait until I start showing the wild things my son is into!!!
He's an even better artist than I am...but his style is completely different. Oh yeah...& his prices are quite higher, too.

link us his works, bro.
Thank you! I still have the SRR vs Basillio in my collection. Hoping to have Carmen sign it next summer at the International Boxing Hall of fame. The Pac vs Diaz was commissioned by a Pac fan who lives in Virginia.
I've shipped my paintings as far away as Australia & Hong Kong! BTW, I live in New Jersey...
